My name is Mandy, and obviously, I'm a cosplayer. I love the creative outlet, and the challenges that costumes sometimes present, but mostly I do this as a fun way to meet friends and an excuse to do a little travel/vacationing.
I do try my best with each costume, usually. I like helping cosplayers who are just getting started, and I think my favorite part is building props. I'll probably keep making friends props long after I get tired of cosplaying :)
I am putting this out there now...I am sorry, but I don't take cosplay that seriously. This is supposed to be a fun, silly thing. We're dressing up like CARTOON CHARACTERS! If you take this really seriously, that's fine, but please don't get angry if I don't. I love to laugh, and love to laugh at myself. Have fun with it, people!
