I'll be honest- I'm not a particularly talented cosplayer... I'm one of those people who is better at finding a basic layout, say a dress, and messing around with it. I'm still quite new to the whole thing, my first cosplay was for my sixteenth birthday as Aeris from FF7 when we had a kickass cosplay party in my cellar! I've also cosplayed Maya from Oban Star Racers, Princess Mononoke and Lust from Full Metal Alchemist. Outside the cosplay area, I'm a bit of a boff and like 'independant' learning, mainly reading about Japanese history, and creative writing. Hiya I know it's over a month old & probably too late ow but I just read yr bulletin about the pokemon cosplay, personally I think u should use a sleek white wig instead of the cap, and strong eye/lip make up to represent the colours on the face, it'd look more stylish
I'm secretly doing the same. If a uni has an anime society it goes WAY up my list. Leicester as in the city? Errr...it's full of chavs like everywhere else. XD But you can't beat having Amecon on your doorstep.
Heylo, thanks for the add. I was the Trisha cosplayer (I.e the one in the purple dress.) I'm glad you liked our group! ^_^ I MIGHT be going to the next midlands expo...but i'm not sure yet. I am going to amecon, fuyucon AND Alcon though. Are you going to any cons this year? ^_^

Ha ha yeah that would be funny to read, you should send me a link! BTW it's only the organisers I had a dispute with, not the cosplay team (cos my friend runs it now and he's lovely)
