I've always had a soft spot in my heart for silver haired bishounen and this spawn of Genova was no exception. I wanted to cosplay him when I first saw the Japanese release of Advent Children. The initial synthetic leather I tried to use turned out to big an utter failure, but live and learn. Since then it has been quite a love/hate relationship between me and this cosplay. However, it is by far my favorite to wear. The wig turned out a lot better than I thought it would as well.

Darkness Riku // Kingdom Hearts
This cosplay was a spur of the moment thing done after a few weeks of receiving my Riku wig. It consists of goth stuff and a few chains, things I had in my closet already. My friend and I were simply feeling like a photoshoot so I threw something together and we went out like fiends into the night for some quick pics.

Light Yagami // Deathnote
This was a real source of pride for me for several months. It took some time to get the wig exactly right, but the costume itself was easy to pick up from the local mall. The actual wig I used was borrowed from someone else because at the last moment, I was not satisfied with the job I had done on cutting it. Thankfully I have friends with similar interest however and the Lord Kira cosplay was not delayed.

L Lawliet // Deathnote
This cosplay was to satisfy a money wager and to appease a friend. I enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as my earlier Raito (Light) cosplay. I was not a big fan of the character to be honest and this was the final deathnote cosplay I wanted to participate in before the fandom grew to be too large and there were 100 L cosplayers at every con.

Natsuo // Loveless
I was trying to encourage a friend of mine to cosplay with me at a local con. She adores shounen ai, so I played to her interests and talked her into participating in a Loveless cosplay with me. The two mirrored school uniforms and tails were made by me (with assistance from my loving mother) and we both ordered ears from Cosworx. We attended the first day of the con together as the Zero team from Loveless and we both enjoyed the attention we recieved as a canon couple.

Kanda Yu // D-grey man
I love cosplaying as sullen/brooding characters. I really enjoyed this cosplay, but I had little to do with the costume making process. I commissioned the uniform from a friend in China and he had it back to me in a little more than a month. The work was exquisite and got many good reviews. My Kanda 'wig' was really my own hair with three extensions I had sewn together by hand in the ponytail and paired pieces on each side.
