ABOUT ME

Hi my names Vanessa, my cosplay alias is daydreamernessa! I have a bf who I love very much, and we call our cosplaying duo "Paperhearts Cosplay"

My first cosplay was back in 2003 a storebought and altered sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin, but i didn't seriously cosplay until spring 2005 when me and my bf and started cosplaying together.

Like many i've met so many wonderful people, because of this hobby, and hope to meet more awesome people!

Me and Juan had put together a masquerade group for fanime 2006 "cosplay spectacular" Our group won Best Choreography. Choreography was mostly created by rice boy one of the "stage ninja's" on the boy's side. The idea for skit was mine enjoy~!

Me and juan had entered at Anime overdose's 2006 masquerade. Juan had made both costumes for the cherry blossom festival in 2005, and we decided to enter them in this contest. I came up with a simple walk-on for us to do, and we won Best Craftsmanship.

Me and juan had wanted to enter the masquerade at Tales of anime this year, with our friend melissa, and her friend Steve. It was hard to come up with an idea that involved all of our different characters, but juan managed to come up with somethign we all liked! Awards won: Best costume group, and Best costume Angel & demon theme. I am the sailor V, juan is Kingdom hearts Sephiroth, Melissa is eternal sailormoon, and Steve is Dante from Devil may cry.

For Fanime 2007, Me, Juan, and CJ debuted our Record of Lodoss Wars cosplays. It was all of our first times creating armor, so it was a time-consuming, and long process to create our own costumes. Juan came up with a simple skit, with staple lodoss music you hear in the series. We were super happy, and suprised to win Best Group Craftsmanship Advanced. So enjoy!
