My name is Janet, I'm 24 years old and currently live in Orlando, FL! I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA, born and raised for 21 years before moving down south. I live with my boyfriend, Chris (who is also my cosplay partner in crime), and have three pets - a loppy-eared bunny, a lionhead rabbit, and a Siamese cat (Hunny, Vegeta, and Mono, respectively)!

I started cosplay back in 2003, after seeing photos online and really wanting to become involved. I've always been an artistic person, but before cosplay, never picked up a sewing needle or even thought about sewing anything. I've been hooked since then though, and continue to challenge myself with new things and learning more as I go onto bigger and greater things with costuming.

I currently have 45 or so costumes under my belt, with many more ideas for the future! I don't plan to stop anytime soon, especially with dream projects that I really want to accomplish someday.

I currently work in the telecommunications industry, someday I would really love to pursue a degree in textiles and go to college for fashion design. It's a dream of mine, and I'm hoping to make it happen.

Personality wise, I can be a hard person to really get to know since I'm very shy, but once people truly get to know me they realize I'm quite a bubbly, friendly person. I don't easily open myself up to others, though - this can probably lead people to thinking I'm snobbish, but I'm just very shy!

I'm very tiny, too - only 4'11". But I eat like a pig, and if it's something bad for my health chances are I enjoy devouring it, from sweets to fast food...a habit I should probably change but probably never will! People are generally amazed at how much I love food, considering my tiny size, hehe.

But enough about me, I enjoy getting to know other people, and am more of a listener than a speaker, really. I really enjoy getting to know other cosplayers especially, and making new friends is the best part of the cosplay experience! So feel free to add me and I will add you back!
