If you're wondering about my headline....um, yes, I am actually an attorney and I get paid to say "OBJECTION!" although it's more like "objection..." without the slamming of the fists on the table and the yelling (unless I'm cranky and opposing counsel has put me in a bad mood...then I totally channel Phoenix Wright).
Not trying to be arrogant about what I do - just that being an attorney is as much a part of who I am as being an otaku. I fight every day to make the world a better place! The law is my Sword of Justice which I use to protect the weak!
Because of my job, most people I meet are BORING legal people I don't really relate to! Cosspace has been a great way find a way to connect with awesome cosplayers other than just at conventions.
I am a total otaku and have been since before Anime got really popular here in the U.S. (I rented anime on VHS from the Japanese video store...no I couldn't really speak Japanese back then either.)
