Internet spelling applied to real life (or the internet). Usage of the following when referring to non-hobbyists: Norms, normals, mundanes, etc. Con stupidity. Senseless yaoi fan pairings. People without work ethic. Smoking. Reality TV. (all reality TV. every last freaking show.)

Cosplay: Pinning, bad wigs/lack of wig, cheap fabric, unfinished hems, wrinkles. Laziness and sloppiness in general.

Official Rumiko Takahashi fangirl and local cosplay enthusiast; wig and fabric snob.

I live just north of Seattle, where I've been active in the local convention and cosplay scene since 2003. My major cosplay fixation is the Takahashi-verse, in particular Ranma 1/2.

As far a series go, I'm really into Detective Conan right now. I've enjoyed mystery series since I was a kid, and DC blends several elements I love: puzzles, appealing characters, action, strong women, and shonen romance. Plus cool music and Yamaguchi Kappei as the main character (one aspect of him, anyway).

A friend of mine has also got me into Detective Academy Q (anime and live action), by the creator of Kindaichi Case Files, as well as a couple other tantei series.
