ANNOUNCEMENT: Providence Anime Conference Cosplay Events going LIVE MAY 31st.
***
Applications for Providence Anime Conference's cosplay events will be going live on May 31st. We will be holding two NONCOMPETITIVE events: A Friday Night Fashion show AND a Saturday afternoon Skit Exhibition. You can read the rules for the events here:

If you have always wanted to participate in a Fashion show without the pressures of competition, OR if you have had a skit you've always wanted to do but was a bit too long or "untraditional" for a competitive event, you may want to check these out.
Any questions can be sent to me at: cosplay@providenceanime.com
** Providence Anime Conference is an NEAS sponsored event open to fans age 21 and over.

****************
I have recently resigned as the Cosplay Events Manager for Anime Boston-- after two years of having a GREAT time running their shows and meeting a number if amazing cosplayers in the process.
Anime Boston will continue to be a convention that is quite near and dear to my heart, and I will continue to be involved with the con as a newly elected member of the 2009 Executive Advisory Board. (So don't worry. you're not getting rid of me, I'll just be less visible, since I prefer to work behind the scenes anyway.)
Cosplay Events will still be one of my hobbies-- and this coming October, I will be Staff for the inaugural year of Providence Anime Conference, the world's first 21-and-over anime convention. I will hopefuly still be Staffing for PortConMaine, IF I can find a way to make it up there without breaking my bank account.
Also, please keep an eye out an local conventions where Anime Boston and PAC will be having registration tables. I plan on being very involved with these in the upcoming year. So stop by and say hello if you see me!
