Dang!!! I'm sorry. That sucks, I got hook kicked in the face once too thankfully the guy wasn't that strong. I did break a rip once in Hap Ki Do though, that was the worst. To be honest the worst looking injury I've ever had came from a little 4 year old. See, he was really hyper and he kept jumping up and down, to the point where it was destracting the master. So I walked up behind the kid. leaned over him and was just about to put my hands on his sholder to hold him still when he jumped with all his might and the top of his head nailed me right in the mouth. Both of my lips busted open and I bit my tonge. Blood came rusing out of my lips and mouth and of course I couldn't feel my face. The worst part was that inorder to get to the bathroom I had to walk though the waiting room where all the parents were watching their kids through a glass window. When I walked by the kid's mom, she started crying saying how sorry she was. I was so imbarrested, I got beaten up by a 4 year old!!

Anyways, thanks! That kinda make me feel old, but I like being friends with everyone....as long as your not my student. .

Not at all! Most of the junor instructors are from 13 to 15 and we get along fine. ^-^

No, I didn't win. It was my first event. There were people there who had been fighting for 10, 20, even 30 years. But I did beat 3 people over the corse of two days and I even fought one of my teachers and we tied the first round, but he beat me in the next one. It was fun though, I really liked it.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I too weighed a lot when I was younge. I totally understand the situation you are in, there are a few schools like that. Sadly a lot of schools are becoming more businesses then places to really learn. When you go off to a univeristy you should look for marital arts clubs at the school, that what I plan on doing once I get my AA degree. ^-^

I'm also taking mid-evil sword fighing, just got back from a big event too, its so much fun! XD
