Konnichiwa! Stephanie here! One of my fans told me about this site. So I signed up to check it out! Anyway here is a little info on what I have done Cosplay wise. I was involved with the cosplay group Sailor Jamboree. I worked with many anime/japanese companies while working with Sailor Jamboree. Here are some of the companies I worked with:
Mitsuwa, Cartoon Passion, Tokyo International Fair, Japan Expo, Ktla Morning News, and HBO for the show Entourage,E3.
Since then I have focused on my career as an anime singer. But I still do cosplay. Once a cosplayer always a cosplayer! ;p
The latest thing that I have done cosplay wise was the Nana Costume contest that was held over at PMX. I was never in a cosplay contest before but when I heard that a favorite artist of mine that I look up to was judging I just had to enter! So for the Nana cosplay event they had Olivia Lufkin judge the contest. I decided to go with her look from her music video "wish" and the wig was inspired by the anime. I am really happy to say that Olivia chose me for first place at the Nana costume contest! :)
I am always interested in working for cosplay events. You can contact me at STEPH-IDOL.COM.
So that was a little bit of my cosplay history.
Now here is the bio about me as an artist:
Discovering music at the age of 5, Stephanie Yanez was born to sing. Her love for music eventually led her to record four songs at PARAMOUNT STUDIOS on Geneons Anime Karaoke Collection with three of those songs recorded with overseas Japan-based record label IVE, known for their singer Kotoko. This CD also includes the song that she won at Anime Expos AX Idol 2004 Ningyo Hime from the top anime series Chobits! Since her debut at ANIME EXPO 2005, she has been seen across the country, performing at many different Japanese Events, Anime Conventions, and Music Venues. She even went to Japan to have a live performance in HARAJUKU! She has opened up for overseas Japanese artists YOUSEI TEIKOKU and has shared the same stage with KOTOKO. And has now opened up for Major Record Label Artist NIKKA COSTA at The COACH HOUSE in San Juan Capistrano!
Stephanie has worked with the popular anime company Broccoli. She was involved with the voice acting/singing group DUP USA (Di Gi Charat) as the character RABI EN ROSE.
She has also worked with guitarist FULL METAL NINJA of RANDOM NINJAS on the Collaboration SLY.
