My life has been one of circling perpetually and joyously around the utmost in geekery. For example, as a child, I collected stamps, and actually used the word, "philately." I write, draw, fence (foil for UNH for 6 years), and, of course, sew.

I love video games, DnD, and RenFaires. I started costuming, or at least sewing in earnest, when my mom and I made my high school prom dress (the green Regency-era style number I'm wearing in my avatar). In college, my friends started me in on the RenFaire scene, and it was something akin to awakening the Great Beast. I use my sewing machine at least weekly, if not oftener.

Cosplay has, in the past two years, become one of the primary hobbies in my life. It's a little astonishing, actually. Almost overwhelming, if you ask my bank account and that fictional thing called "free time."
