Fanime is one of my favorite cons to attend and especially to perform at. The competition is always good plus it is good size audience to perform in front of. I knew I wanted to do a Slayers skit since the begging of 2008 and I worked on getting more people to join us. We all decided to do a song/dance skit type skit and I thought it would be funny if we did it to the song "Anything You Can Do" from Annie Get Your Gun. We changed the lyrics,and then used our own voices to re-record it. I was really happy with how the final version of the came out. I also made to large spell props to use on stage and I had placed ElWire on it so they would light up and flash during the skit, however the converter boxes shorted out the day of the masquerade! I was so bummed. At any rate we were able to walk away with Best in Show!! I was through surprised and grateful to win such an award!
