Bah, tried taking photos of my Yuuko cosplay not long ago..but the pics didn't look as nice. Full of noise and whatnot, despite the day being relatively sunny. I've always had this type of problem with my camera, but didn't really notice since it was my first digital one. Nor noticed the lower MP. At the time, I just cared moreso to have it with me during convention weekends. But I also take alot of artistic shots in photography outside of cosplay..so it became a slight nui... Read More
Alight everyone, I want to start an unofficial event called SoyCon. It's going to be a 2-day event where one portion will be a picnic and the other will be a photoshoot. Chances are that the location will be in downtown Chicago around the same location as the ACen Aftermath photoshoot for the past 2 years. For those who want to spend the night will get hotel rooms. Hi all, I'm talking to my uni's photo club about setting up a once in a while photoshoot session similar to "The Shot". Basically we'd have a theme, a set (or maybe just a white room) and model(s). You would be directed to pose, but can offer suggestions as well. This is by no means 100% as we're still talking about how it'd work out, but basically you'd be required to bring your costume and travel to the location. OMFG. Yes, I live. Forgot about this place for a month or...so. Something like that.I'm gonna be taking a shoot here soon when my new Saya cosplay is done...but I don't know if it'll still be winter...or...if it'll be spring.So.
