Well, I'm almost done painting all the black roses along my
yuuko Cosplay. FEW - never knew it would be a ton of work..I'm starting to really appreciate people who made fancy clothing in the past.
I just need to finish one sleeve, then a little bit of the back - And presto! Then I'll I need to do is buy the wig. I'm so happy that I'm pleased with it...it can be a bummer when you screw up on something and often feel fustrated.

Just like
yuuko herself, this was one contrary prop. It absolutely refused to photograph properly. I finally got some good shots on the third try.
The stem is wood with a faux grain finish. The mouthpiece and bowl are sculpted from clay and finished with gold and silver leaf.
I chose a clay made from volcanic ash specifically so the bowl would be resistant to heat. A smidge of incense can be placed in it and lit, which gives great ambiance. ;) Alas, it didn't photo...
