Just got back from AX in Long Beach. Drove for over 12 hours yesterday From Long Beach to San Francisco then back to the Modesto area. Still, had some fun times, even if i did have to stand in line for 8 HOURS to get my registration.
I spent my first day dressed as Dr. Greg House (complete with cane, cranky demeanor, and prescription breath mints). Got to diagnose a lot of people. Several cases that were thought to be lupus turned out to be a Lucius (Malfoy), Luffie, or Lupin. By the time I got my badge I was so happy that it was over I was smiling like an idiot. Not very House-like, so I got a refill from an L cosplayer. (Yay for Mike'n'Ike brand vicodin!)
The plus side of being stuck in line for that long was that, after working on it for a long time, I was finally able to finish my "Bleach Pirates" song, and I am now working on a skit to do with it next year.

Well, that's still a long ways off, but I plan to start gathering shinigami to make a full skit ready to perform by next summer, if not sooner.
