Awhile back in March, I went to AB08 and post my experience of going there, in my words.
AB08 was the first convention I been to and was the best one already.
First of all I went to Anime Boston as Toshiro Hitsugaya. Me, my younger brother and my mother got onto the train by 6:50am after we woke up at 5:30am in the morning. Now my mom was in a rush as we left our house and forgot to get her purse. Now my sister and her boyfriend had to grab back at the house and race towards the next train station in time before the train leaves. Thankfully they were able to catch up at the Shirley train station. What we also noticed that there already other cosplayers on the train too which ease the tension of getting kicked off the train during that period of time. Me and my anime club group who were on a different cart of the train arrived at the Boston station around 8:00am. We met a few cosplayers there which was cool while the police at the station kept giving compliments about the way me and my brother, who was dressed up as Naruto from Part II, looked.
Now we got onto the subway to get to the Haynes Convention Center, and it was the first time on the subway. It was like a roller coaster, going back and forth all the damn time. Pissed me off.
We got to the convention center around 9:00am and got in line 9:30am and it was from then on Line Con 08. The line moved so slowly every 18 minutes, about 15 steps. Though me, Cloud and Death Watcher had an epic sword fight pose. And I met alot of new friends during the 4 hour of waiting time in the longest line ever. It was never ending, so many people.
Once we were registered (Always pre-register), I was walking around until I got just snatched by Momo Hinamori as she took me into a huge Bleach group and went to the third floor of the place to take photos by lots of people with...cameras. Lots of fighting poses and yaoish poses, though there was one yuri posing in it 
. We then got kicked out of the area by the staff to set something up and with that we mostly broke up.
Now after walking around, taking pictures with lots of fangirls and just anime enthusiasts, I stumbled upon the Anime Court Case event and Gin, my archenemy who is my evil comrade during this convention, told me to join into the event. He was luckily elected as judge, thanks to me and he chose me as the Balieff during the case of the Mass Murder of Lines case, involving a Death Note character killing everyone in the long line during the registration process. I had to control alot of fangirls and handcuff one of them them. I was also called up as a surprise witness who really had nothing to help for the case except that "I can't say" or "I didn't see much". The defendant was guilty oh well, even though Jiraya was called up as a judge as they kicked Gin out for a mis trial.
Now after that, I hanged out with a Bleach group consisting of Kenpachi, Aizen, Renji and Ichigo as we search for barrels and told that the Game is Lost and the cake is a lie. We ambushed alot of ninjas and I found all four barrels with me winning two times in the name of evil.
We left at 7:10pm and I got home at 9:10pm. It was so fun but I have to remember to do one thing...."ALWAYS PRE-REGISTER!"
