ACen went great. I was glad I was able to go this year. I wasn't able to wear my Shakugan no Shana cosplay, as I forgot my wig cap and any clips I attempted to put my hair up with poked through the wig. Ah well.
Fox went over REALLY well. I'll be posting pictures soon. I had a blast hanging out with Falco and Wolf. We won an award for best group for the Hall Contest. Yay! I'm totally going to frame a picture of us to set beside the award. I finally feel like I have something to show for the progress I've made in my cosplay skills. I'm happy, Fox held together really well. I'll definitely be improving things for Otakon but overall, there was very little damage done to the costume itself (which is a first... normally I find out something totally didn't go according to plan and have to pin things in place). That's a pretty big deal to me, since I didn't get to try everything on prior to the con. I was covering the ears in fur and attaching them as late as Friday night.
Next up... Otaku Omaha. Should be fun. I'm co-running a cosplay panel. I think I have a good idea of what I'm going to talk about.
