GasuKan is a group of Western Washington cosplayers that meets on a monthly basis for photoshoots. The location changes depending on the month, though our home base is Gasworks Park. Each shoot has a theme, such as Under the Umbrella or Crossing Over, that can be interpreted in the way each attendee sees fit (or ignored at will).

I started the shoots as a way to fill my own between-con cravings for cosplay and to meet with local cosplayers in a more relaxed setting. It also affords attendees the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with some of our excellent area photographers.

Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome. Gasukaaners come from as far away as Vancouver, B.C., so if you're willing to make the trek, we're happy to have you onboard. Please join us!
