What I love most...

I was just thinking today, one of the things I love the MOST about Miyavi is how he can take a single song, interpret it three different ways and each way is so beautiful and different and perfect...It's much more than just slow verson/fast version/acoustic version.  It feels like much more than just a simple attempt to sell more music .  I always feel like it's a whole different song..and yet not.

Don't get me wrong, I like that Utada Hikaru's Passion and Distance come in two different speeds...but, those songs just don't impact me the way that Miyavi's different interpretations do.  I guess THAT explains better than anything else...Version v. Interpretation...where others create mere versions of the same song, Miyavi renders amazing interpretations XD

I don't know if I can single out one thing I love most about him... . His music was my first love, definitely. His CDs are just perfect, every single time, and his songs impact everyone. I mean, just take a listen to 'Thanx Givin' Day', then flip to 'JPN PRIDE'. The songs are so different, but they're so uniquely him.

And then there's his personality. While a lot of stars are stuck up and snobbish, I've heard from people that have actually met him that he's a really down to earth, nice guy. And that's always something to look up to.

I just hope I do him justice cosplaying him. .
