Event warnings!

 Okay so as you people may know Acen has decided the best route for the major events to take, aka the Masqurade and concerts, is ticketing. Last year it was a bit shacky and things weren't as organized as they could have been due to restaffing, but this year will be a bit different. Which brings me to my reason for posting this. My warning is simpley this get your tickets! the events this year requiring tickets will be strictly enforced and while there is a slight chance of getting into the events i promise the goods seats will be gone. They will be distributing the tickets all throughout the con at designated areas and not at one time or place, so if you don't get a ticket it is more then likely out of laziness. Also if you are going to the events know these simple rules,

1. Be courteous to your fellow congoers.  For most of you, we realize that's all that needs to be said. 
   
   
2. NO costume prop weapons, staves, walking sticks, giant gourds, Lances of Longinus, or other costume props larger than 1' by 1'.
3. Tall wigs, costumes with wings or other obstructive attachments extending  more than 1' out from you in any direction are also not acceptable.  A tail you can sit on is fine.  Your three foot Nabeshin wig should either be left in the room or kept in your lap during the show.   
4. We reserve the right to inspect or search large bags and backpacks.
5. No throwing of anything at anyone.
6. If you choose to cut in line, you are choosing to forfeit your right to attend the masquerade.  Even if you have a ticket.  Likewise you may not save a spot in line for your thirty-five friends.
7. Do not taunt Happy Fun Taz.  He does bite.
8. All items deamed unworthy of attendance will not be held so if you think it won't pass leave it in your room.

Go to acen.org, on the left side, there is a link for ticket stuffs. There are a few different times, Thursday - Saturday, that they are handing out tickets for the different events (Only concerts and the Masquerade require tickets). So, check out the website for all of the information needed. ^-^ As for areas, I read on the ACen forums that there will be 2 places that will be distributing tickets, the customer service area near registration, and inside the hotel, between the Grand Ballroom and the bathrooms. ("Registration" is in big gold letters above the desk, however, this is not were registration for the con is.) I'm not sure if they will be changing those locations, since it hasn't officially been posted on the website, but they are a couple places to check just in case. ^_^

 Layouts for the con is in production as we speak so there is absolutely nothing offical as of yet. For reg the only thing i can say for sure is it will be in the same part as every year the convention center. I will try and keep updating as they come up as long as they don't interfer with con confidentiality.
