What Old School Anime cosplay have you done?

I have a great affinity for the old school cosplay.  Last year I did a Sanson from Gainax's "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" and right now I am working on a Roy Fokker from Macross.

Peter and I did an amazingly craptastic Fujiko Mine and Lupin III. But now that we have a wig for Peter and I'm working on actually *making* a Fujiko costume instead of gathering stuff from my closet, I think we'll look a lot better next time. haha!

I did Devil Hunter Yohko (which originates from 1990!) which is probably my most well-known old school cosplay. Now that I think of it, I suppose my Android 18/Juuhachi Gou cosplay from Dragon Ball Z counts too! That anime premiered in the late 80s/early 90s. :D

I have Misa Hayase from Macross planned, which will definitely be my most oldschool anime character cosplay. It was planned for this year's AX, but is unfortunately being postponed due to a few reasons. :(

Oh yeah. I did a really ghetto Fujiko Mine with my friend as Lupin once, haha, but I barely count that one!

Hey all! :)

Most recently I did Zelda from the 1989 cartoon show. No pictures yet, but soon. I think maybe five people at the convention knew who I was. ^_^;;

I hope to complete A-Ko from the Vs. Battles soon and a couple of costumes from Robotech. Even if they are considered "obscure" it's nice being the only XYZ at a given event rather than melting into a crowd of hundreds of Narutos.

 I would very much like to see the Robotech costumes!  I am working on Roy Fokker right now.

Lets see.... I've done Nadia from the Secret of Blue Water and Claudia from Robotech/Macross.

I also made my guy a matching Roy costume to go with Claudia.

 

One year at AWA about 4 years ago another old school cosplay of a Leiji Matsumoto character was walking around and I was wearing Claudia. A couple of fanboys upstairs saw us walking past each other and yelled out "WHOO HOO OLD SCHOOL"
