  Hi! I’m Paula, a graphic designer... oh, well, to tell the truth, I’m looking for a good job in this área, ‘cuz I have finished my college recently. My graduation work was a comic book, since I was a little girl I love arts and drawing, and graphic design is a great chance to join both things.
I'm studying fashion design right now, in a pretty good university, it's a extension course. In the future, I hope to become a fashion illustrator.
I born and live with my family in Sao Paulo, Brazil.Love my family (mom, dad and two little sisters), they are amazing, supporting me when I need and approving my crazy things... yeah, I'm a pretty pampered 23 years old baby! My kid sister Gabriela is my best friend, she is an angel, and my other sister, Mila, is the cutest poodle ever, I love dogs!=) And my friends are my joy, I’m very lucky. Hum... uh... awwww! What more!? I’m not good in personal descriptions, as you can see, but people describes me as a temperamental but very kind-hearted person...in fact, I have a very strong personality, but I’m a really-really-reaaally good girl!^u^

  I’m cosplaying since 2001, when I went to a con dressed as Rei Ayanami. I chose her because I was utterly obsessed with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Rei is one of my favorite character ever!=D She wears a super beautiful school uniform that looked easy enough for me in this time. It worked so well (one of my fave costumes), since I made it, I just replaced the wig for a new and better one! After this, I always make some costumes when I can do!^u^ But I know I don’t have an extensive costume collection ‘cuz: a) I’m not rich (hauhaa, unfortunately!8D But, one day, I will!XD); b) I prefer to invest the money in one single outfit instead of make three, for example, with the same funds. Surely, if I could I would make lots of cosplays at the same time!^-^
 I choose to cosplay my favorite characters, the ones that I love and know well. Plus, those will fit me better, matching with my face and body type. The most are video game characters, I’m such a nerd and I can sit and play for hours and hours, I love gaming!=D When I was younger, I had more patience for sit in front a TV screen (or PC) and watch anime, but, now, I’m a grumpy old lady (8D) and I like very few animated series.
 About fabrics, details, props, etecetera, I try to do my best and make the outfit as close as possible to the character (the “challenge” is to reproduce what there is in a paper or tv screen in the real life), plus try to match with my personal taste. Cosplay is about creativity too, even two (or more, surely!XD) people are cosplaying the same character, their costumes never will be identical, because each one has your interpretation...and this is cool! I really like to help (hauhuaa... I don’t know how many times I talked to someone how to make de Whip’s whip or about Kula’s leather, or where I buy my wigs, blah, blah blah), but what works for one person may not work for another. I don’t care to explain how I made my costumes, ‘cuz when somebody asks me, it’s a great compliment, but one thing is to help, other is to say “the right way to do”, and this is not nice, because each one has their own vision, so, doesn’t exists the “right way”, but lots of ways to make work, in line with personal ideas, skills and resources!=D I mean... don’t be a copycat, be creative.
 Personally, cosplaying is just about having fun with my sister (Asamiya Athena username) and my friends, I’m not a competitive person and the stage is not my fave place in the world!lol!xD I’m very shy for this kind of thing!^u^’ No-no, better... I’m a piece of crap on the stage!8D
My favourite costume for now is the Kula Diamond “default” (or “normal”) outfit, because she is my top favourite and the costume was made in very special circumstances, so, I’ve a special affection for it. Kula’s outfit is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. But as I said above, I love all the characters I cosplayed, they are different between them (like Rei Ayanami and Mylene Jenius or Whip and Mamimi) but (I think) they match me in certain way (or not!8D).
