ACen went great. I was glad I was able to go this year. I wasn't able to wear my Shakugan no Shana cosplay, as I forgot my wig cap and any clips I attempted to put my hair up with poked through the wig. Ah well.Fox went over REALLY well. I'll be posting pictures soon. I had a blast hanging out with Falco and Wolf. We won an award for best group for the Hall Contest. Yay! Looks like my Fox McCloud is going to come down to the last minute. I still have the back of the head to fur, the ears, nose and eyes. Not to mention the headset, which I haven't started and the L patch for my fiancee's Luigi. What's driving me nuts is here I am at work... with nothing to do. It's making me fidgit. IRK! This time next week... I'll be sitting at work counting down the hours until I can go home and pack for ACen. So much still to do... so little time. My holster and belts are pretty much done (just need a little tweaking after I finish the buckles). Boots are far from done... gloves still need to be finished... the mask has a long way to go and the headset hasn't even been started. I still haven't figured out how to get stuff from the gallery to link... but I now have an image of my Fox tail uploaded. The fur is a bit darker than Fox appears to be... but I just couldn't find anything lighter. I LOVE the white fur. So soft. I need to find a use for the remaining 3/4 yard of it.I poured the silicon to make my mold for the buckles. That was quite an experience. My Fox tail is done. It is very soft and lovely. I'll post pictures soon, I promise. My friend helped me out a bunch with the jacket. I owe her big time (but hopefully I can repay the favor when it comes time to work on her Princess Peach). Between her and myself, I hope to see the jacket complete this week.
