Progress on Fox has been sloooooow. His boots are really slowing me down... but I THINK I finally got things figured out. I hate waiting on paint to dry. UGH.I should really find a toy gun soon, so I can practice twirling it. I don't think I'll be able to do Fox's taunt but I would like to at least be able to twirl it as I put it away or something.Each day after work I go home hopeful that my tail fur has arrived. Finished the scarf for my Fox McCloud cosplay. Probably the easiest bit I had to do... but hey, it's progress. I've been working on the boots but its a slow, tedious process. The bits that are done look good and at the moment, still leave the boots useable for Steampunk if I can't do Fox for ACen. I'm really really excited to get a start on my Fox McCloud cosplay. I'm hoping the task of working on a furry mask won't be too much for me. It's scary... cuz it really could make or break the whole costume. I really have no clue what I'm going to do about getting the right color for his fur. Joanns fur is limited, but I haven't tried the other stores in town yet. Anyone know if you can dye fur? Joanns had a white fur that would have been a good length for tail fur... but I need it a light brown... Read More
Well, I bought a ton of red fabric at the store, and some extra little things (string and frilly things too of course) Everything there was 50% off because the place was closing down for good. Which stinks because then this town will be without a fabric store...Grrrr. But, it gave me the opportunity to get some nice fabric and go ahead with doing Caterina (Trinity Blood).
