Since I am very behind doing the condensed version. Most important cosplay related thing was our Eternal Sonata group won Best of Show at Otakon. That was beyond awesome, especially as the only other time the majority of this combination of midwest groups worked together we came away empty handed.DragonCon - since it was only a few weeks after Otakon took it easy and didn't compete or stress over making anything new. I'm getting ready for PortCon '09. Finally! I get to do my top fandom, Reno!! I was going to grow my hair out and dye it like three million times but then I wanted to do Rufus as well (will I ever cosplay someone of my own gender??). So I'm going to cut and dye my hair for Rufus and get a wig for Reno. Also... I'm making an EMR and Jenova's head box. I want these two cosplays to my best ever. That's why I'm starting now. Yaoicon was... suprisingly NOT yaoi.People were really nice/mature.Phoography locations were pretty awesome, and cosplayers defintely put 100% into their costumes and were very cooperative with us photographers.I saw no harassment of any kind, despite what rumors say.The weather and hotel was beautiful calming.To me, Yaoicon is what an ideal con should be.Good location, good cosplayers, chill atmosphere.Not that I'm buying a badge next year =) Pictures can be seen on winterwish.net as usua... I'm fresh out of the shower, hair wrapped in a towel and I think now is a good time to do something I have been promising myself. I'm such a sloth about updates. I have made a deal with myself to update something everyday. So far I have gotten better but I still haven't made the big updates to show off Dragon*con, AFO, or photoshoots.
