The progress report

Well, I officially started on Caterina (Trinity blood) finished her corset, and started on her long cloak/cape - the sewing part is finished but now putting the golden designs on it.

And decided that I'll save Fai Flourite for another year ^_^; at least the fabric was cheap (It was on sale) so it wasn't a huge "waste", persay. I think I just wanted to remain with the more elaborate style cosplays, and remain with girl characters. Last year all I did was male characters and crossplayed..wh... Read More

I finished my second boot for my Onion Knight costume. It's not as good as the first, sadly. (The toe part was actually created before the other boot was started... I just happened to work on the other one's toe afterward and then completed the other boot first.) I should have the shirt done by the end of the weekend and the skirt by the end of next weekend. I'm waiting for decent weather to cast her necklace out of resin (plus getting together with my fiancee's friend so he can help me figure out how to light it up). I begin to think this winter will never end.... Read More

Well, I'm almost done painting all the black roses along my Yuuko Cosplay. FEW - never knew it would be a ton of work..I'm starting to really appreciate people who made fancy clothing in the past.

I just need to finish one sleeve, then a little bit of the back - And presto! Then I'll I need to do is buy the wig. I'm so happy that I'm pleased with it...it can be a bummer when you screw up on something and often feel fustrated.

In other news, I know this was some days ago but the Lun... Read More

Mmm, two of my cosplays are going quite well in the making - Yuuko Ichihara and Rosette Christopher.

But I am a tad concerned for my Fai Flourite one. I painted on the designs on the fabric, but it just doesn't look as clean and nice, meaning that the paint feels stiff against the fabric and whatnot. So really debating if I should continue...all I need left from that outfit is the staff, metal loops and a little bit of red fabric but I just don't know if the end result will look as g...
