Getting to know you!

 Well people aren't being very talkative and i am bored so here is a new section for getting to know our fellow con goers. Seeing as I am the one with the big mouth I'll go first.

     I'm Cody (con name: Usagi Shinobi, IRT codename: Hawaiian or Biggs depending on who you talk to), I have been going to acen for the better part of 5 years now. I am a first year staffer for the con this year and from what i can tell I have no intentions of stopping any time soon. Probably my favorite part/parts of the can has to be the cosplayers, because we are such an expansive con we have an incredibley wide variety of cosplayers coming from all over the US, granted we are no animeXPO but that is for the best. I also love how into the con everyone gets from the goers to the cosplayers staff all the way to guests who have throughout the years have become congoers aswell. I hate to say my cosplay experience is limited but once i have time and money I am sure that will change. My Favorite anime include; Darker Than Black, Mushishi, Genshiken, and anything that has to do with comedy and action really.

My name is Katie, but I often go by Kachii and can almost always be found online by that name or RawrnessKitten... ACen 2008 will be my 8th year attending in a row. However, this will be the first year that I will be a craftsmanship judge for the Masquerade. Unfortunately, I won't be getting any info on how anything works until the Friday of ACen this year. I have also been sewing for about 7 years. I love to make clothes, primarily costumes. I have made a decent amount of costumes within those 7 years, but only one of them has been for me. Everything else I make are for my friends. I haven't been really able to make anything for the past couple years due to work and school, but I am just getting back into it. If you see a Blue Team Soldier from Team Fortress 2 at ACen, that's my fiancé and I made his coat (takin' it sloooooowbrooooo). Not that anyone cares. :O Unfortunately, I will not be cosplaying this year, but I will be takin' pictures like a mofo. So, I'm sure I'll run into all of you at some point at ACen. :D

Well then.  Guess I should support the group I created.  My name's Jon, AKA Phinal Phoenix, and this will be my 7th year at ACen.  I've cosplayed a few times as a Red Mage from Final Fantasy and once as Dr. McNinja from a webcomic of the same name.  Right now I rely on closet cosplaying and bugging my sister (Kachii) for outfits, but maybe it's about time I start learning how to sew.  Anyways, I'll be at ACen this year and I'll be taking pictures of those of you wearing costumes.  See you there!

Hi hi. My name's Jeanette. I've been hitting ACen on and off since 2001. I'll be going this year with my fiancee.

I enjoy the con for its location (not the driving 8 hours to get there bit, but the stuff around the con... can't wait for good pizza and sushi boats). I like watching the cosplayers and the musical guests ACen pulls in. I'll be cosplaying as Shana from Shakugan no Shana and Fox McCloud from Super Smash Bros Brawl. My finacee will be Luigi.

 Wow all the way from Nebraska very dedicated i feel lazy now only having to drive like 10 mins.

I don't mind the drive to IL, driving to Akon last year was worse. We've driven to Otakon before... that's around 20 hours. :P I avoid planes when I can.
