Thanks for posting this.  I'm currantly working on a binding vest for my Lucius and other costumes.  I wasn't sure what other peeps were doing or how they were binding.  The website you have posted will help greatly.  Thank you.  S xx

wow. okay I'm really glad I read this!!!  Even though I'm just a 34A I was going to do some binding because my sports bras dont exactly make me completely flat,  I was gonna do the whole Ace Bandage thing because thats what everyone one cosplay.com says to use... ah, glad I read this O_O

Okay, I've officially read through a ton of binding advice(because I'm looking into getting a T-kingdom binder) but I don't know why ACE bandage doesn't work for people. I've been using it for years now, by itself over a thin tank top, and it gets me very flat and I'm a 24 B. But I do agree it's not the most comfortable thing in the world. Anyway, once I get my T-kingdom binder(model 1480), I'll post some before and after pictures to show the difference. ^^

I have a T-Kingdom binder, and though it's definitely more comfortable than ACE, I find it doesn't flatten me as much (I'm a 36C). So what I've done is I've settled for a compromise:

I usually use 2-3 ACE bandages to get as flat as possible, but with the binder, I can get away with just wearing that and one ACE bandage. It's more comfortable and works really well:

(This is just a suggestion for larger-chested girls ^^ Happy crossplaying!)

This was really helpful, but since the 'con I'm going to is in a week or so, I'll have to use bandages over a sports bra.. at least it won't be quite as bad as tape!
