Well, I bought a ton of red fabric at the store, and some extra little things (string and frilly things too of course)
Everything there was 50% off because the place was closing down for good. Which stinks because then this town will be without a fabric store...Grrrr.
But, it gave me the opportunity to get some nice fabric and go ahead with doing Caterina (Trinity Blood). I still have that itch for doing something really challenging and I'm going to follow through ahead with it.
So, I'm happy ^_^ I'm fine hair wise, and I already have a white dress for the underpart, and I'll remake an old corset I own. I'm not going to fuss over the staff or even make it, due to various reasons. Maybe I'll change my mind later, maybe not...we will see!
So all I would need now is gold stuff to decorate the outfit with. Thus, all in all, Caterina would of only cost me in total -Currently- $41. Add some gold designs, probably add on a few more dollars but still, that's not too bad! I'm not really the type to want to spend alot of money for cosplay. Anything up to a hundred or more is just way too much.
I'm too much into saving money XD; especially since I do need it for more important things, like tution, daily needs and for a vehicle.

Well, I noticed a couple of really...raunchy type photos lately. In which some folks may call "Fanservice"
Now, there is a difference between good, wholesome fanservice and something that looks similar to soft porn. As it was always discussed many times in threads, there is a difference between someone dressing and acting "Sexy" or "Sleazy"
It's just...I don't desire to look at detailed closeup shots of certain intimate areas of a persons body x_x

Wow..is it just me, or did the season for cons (At least for me, everyone is different with their con schedule ^^) just flew up suddenly? I remember thinking last fall how far ahead Anime North and CNanime/Fan Expo was..now, it's the coming of the end of winter, and Anime North is in less than three months and CNanime is in less than six months.
I guess I can't complain! It just feels weird XD

Well, I'm pretty much done my Yuuko cosplay, minus the wig. And now I can also start finishing up with Rosette ^_^
But I just can't help but get the feeling that I can do more, or something really elaborate and stunning. Something more of a challenge. The Yuuko one is pretty elaborate, but there are always some really intense cosplays out there. Not sure why I'm getting these feelings x_x I thought the Yuuko one was going to be a challenge, and it ended up not being that bad (Which is a very good thing technically XD)
I guess it's because my dream is to do something reallllyyyy out there and I keep promising myself that this yearI'll do it, and maybe I'm feeling that I have yet to achieve it? Like complete one thing, then desire to do something more. But that doesn't mean I get tired of the cosplays I already have, or feel unhappy with them.
Strange ^_^;

I know I have whined and whined about this a plenty, but I guess I just feel a lack of folks supporting one another in commenting on things like photos, or even journals and whatnot, if theres a need be. Come of people! Show some enthusiasm out there for other cosplayers!
I guess it's because that alot of people seem to mention how they are barely noticed..or they take the effort in commenting etc on other people's work but get absolutely nothing in return (Alot of my real life friends feel this way ^^;) and much of the attention just goes off to the popular ones.
Anyway, I know I'm just repeating myself here since I made a post about it few months ago, but I just felt the need.

For some reason just feel darn right invisible or completely ignored in some way X_x one makes thoughtful comments, or even ones directed toward someone who made an important post. But it's like...you don't get notice for that or the person doesn't bother to acknowledge you in return. Am I unliked? o.o
That's probably just because my wonky history of abusive friends that I had in the past ^_^; (Seriously) and just being completely paranoid unnecessarily. Thinking too hard!

Well, I'm almost done painting all the black roses along my Yuuko Cosplay. FEW - never knew it would be a ton of work..I'm starting to really appreciate people who made fancy clothing in the past.
I just need to finish one sleeve, then a little bit of the back - And presto! Then I'll I need to do is buy the wig. I'm so happy that I'm pleased with it...it can be a bummer when you screw up on something and often feel fustrated.
In other news, I know this was some days ago but the Lunar Eclipse was lovely! I'm not sure if I saw the satellite fall, or the missile...since I did see a shooting star but it could be just, well, a shooting star and not a crashing satellite. Ah, I love astronomical events.

I'm glad to see some international cons listed on the front page...makes me happy ^.^
The cold turned out to be a really bad flu, but after a good few days it seems to subsiding.
You know what I don't get? Why people say rude comments to other people online, from deviantart to cosspace.com. I mean...why? What is the pleasure of knowing you might be hurting someone's feelings? Bleh.
