Are people...photoshoping their faces? I don't mean light airbrushing to get rid of things like under eye darkess, pimples etc, or when people add little things like funky eye colour to elaborate cosplays (Nothing new with that!) but I mean full out work on the face: Skin blended and smudged together or new skin colour added, lips coloured, nose and cheeks seem to look redone as well..just..really fakish or plastic. Or even painted.
Am I going crazy? Or is there just a specific reason on why people think they need to completely give themselves a face lift, smudge their skin or a nose job? (Or is there some sort of new funky camera that I don't know about that does that ^_^; and just makes people more enhanced looking in that aspect)
I just find it sad that people feel the need to makeover their entire face just to look nice on photos, if that is the case. I know that maybe some folks want to look more like the character but what happens if you meet other fellow cosplayers and you look completely different XD And its not just cosplays either, but display pictures and whatnot.
Anypoo, just a thought. Feel free to give input on that

We seem to have a new little resident on our farm...
A kitten just appeared a few days ago! So far he is still shy ^_^ and hides when he sees us, but he is getting better and is now appearing more often. So far the cats really seem to treat him well.
My mom named him Smokey since he is a dark grey with green eyes..very much like our cat Jaws who had died sometime ago, so we wondered..is this an offspring or some sort of relative of his?
Anyway..behold..our barn cats are now Constantine, JingJing, Silver and...Smokey! And we still spoil them with good food.

I'll probably be killed for this, or tortured by certain rabids but just got to say...
There is getting to be too much Yaoi..to no offense! I've enjoyed it meself, rped it with friends, acted casual and dandy about it. But now its getting too much. Everywhere in the cosplay world there is yaoi. Whenever I checked fun vids of conventions (Mainly the ones I've gone to) there is a good chunk of guys (Or girls with yuri) going at it. It would just be nice watching a pleasant music video of people having fun without 50%-60% of people making out or humping. My goodness, I'd love to see other cosplays and folks I've recgnonized too, or at least get a taste of the convention life! People are yelling it out constantly at shops in dealers room that there is yaoi for sale....and its commonly seen on such cosplay sites like this one, or most anime sites. And there is an entire con devoted to yaoi and another for yuri.
It's just...too much! My friends are even getting tired of yaoi. We don't even rp it anymore! My goodness it doesn't *have* to be such a huge deal 24/7 - Enjoy it, fool around with it, but there are limits x_x its just everywhere. Wow two boys or two girls are kissing big whoop, woohoooo.
Anyway, I suppose I shall get on with my funeral ne? I know, its not a huge deal and really nothing worth fretting about since its people's free desires and choice, but for one day..it would be a decent change to not have yaoi splattered at your face constantly XD it's tiring. And don't say "Well then just don't look at it/go to those places" My goodness that means ignoring everything that is anime related or cosplay related.
But like I said, can't change anything! It's peoples choice.

And no doubt I'm the only one on this site so far that is going :3 Within an Ottawa city area basis.
Hopefully it shall be grand! It's also my first smaller convention, the other ones I've went to were the massive ones.
No brainer, just going as a lolita.

I'm just curious, is fanart actually allowed to be posted on cosspace? I had figured it was mainly just a cosplay photo place like cosplay.com. Since you know...its commonly seen on this site now where fanfart and original art are popping up everywhere.
I'm not against it, mind you! I'm just wondering!

Is it just me or is there a lack of people commenting on each other photos about their cosplays?
Well, unless one is already wickedly popular of course. It feels like 80-90% of comments and views go to the popular photos then the rest kinda is slim or nonexistent.
Regardless, support each other people :3 spread the love.
Anyway, I could be way off or just missing something so feel free to prove me wrong.

I'm actually quite late -Thanksgiving was on Monday- But oh well! Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Belated Thanksgiving ~ (We have Thanksgiving in Oct here in Canada...since I had so many people get confused and think I was crazy ^_^; )
