I just finished Gankutsuou thanks to Lauren. Ooooooooooh shinies. lol The opening song is horrendous. The guy sounds just terrible. As for the anime.... It was good. now omg wow, but entertaining. (Once you get past the strange colors.) I will say that I highly disliked the computer animation stuff. It didn't fit in with the other animation. I also disliked the mini-mech things. It was also out of place... even if it's suppose to be in the future, a good ol' fashion sword fight would have been great. What else? I like Heedi's (sp?) designs. Purdy. I recommend it, but only if you don't get dizzy easily. lmao!

I'm still stuck on episode 4 of GL. Maybe after the wedding.... I also fell behind in Bleach again. AUSA threw that one off. I forgot what one I was on. I think Hitsugaya or whatever just showed up... oh yeah... and renji and rukia.... in El Salvadore, I mean, Buenos Noches... wait... I mean... Nacho Grandes.... wherever they are! :P

And now for other dork stuff.... Finished a Haruhi wig. Half way through a Renji wig. Handsewing is fun! :D Nah, it was small areas. Simple stuff.

Ummm.... tomorrow court house for marriage license.

Today worked a "double." It was DEAD (I blame the weather being yucky) so I left around 7pm. I'm trying to work a double tomorrow too. Wed is work and meeting with organist. Thursday is work and meeting with reception.... MUST get boxes for everything for reception. Friday is work and Halo. Saturday is Bachelorette party. Sunday is skit practice. monday is a double. Tues... double... Wed double.... Thurs double... Friday pamper the bride (ME!!) and rehearsal dinner. Saturday is OMG WEDDING!!!!! Sunday is fly off to Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I think I'll find time to rest. (Not to mention skit writing, wig styling, cleaning, getting presents for peeps, laundry, sleep, steam dresses, figure out how to work my coffee machine, sew a pillow for a manager, and... breathe.) All... by next Friday! I can do it!

I'm home from AUSA. I HAD to eat something before doing any sort of posting. After eating, my headache went away some and was given some energy. Not a lot, but some. This will be a short entry though.

Congrats to all the Masq and Hall contest peeps! Ya'll did a great job! WOOO!!! I entered the Hall on Saturday for the hell of it. I received a Judges award for "Neatness counts." lol Finishes seams and stuff. Woo!

Celestial ball= Anime prom. Even though it was hokey, my friends and I had fun. Liz even made coursages! We too "prom" photos as well.

Um... Taiko drumming was excellent once again. It's my favorite event at ANY con. It really does keep me coming back to AUSA.

I heard the concert was great. I didn't go.

Beading/Embroidery Panel was intimate. We were against the Celestial ball, so I'm sure that took more people away from the panel. There we, I think no less than 10 people there. BUT, it still went great. It's nicer to do a workshop with a smaller group. Oh and Lauren is a great speaker. I envy her.

We caught half ot TristenCitrine's panel. WOO! Hooray for stories! Lauren snagged a super sexy teal wig as well. It's super cute.

What else? Post masq-bar hang out. I did try to get a kalua and cream, but they wouldn't serve me due to my license being cracked... after ignoring me for 5 minutes. As Beth said "Your ID was good enough to get the hotel room, but not good enough to get a drink." Whatever. Saved me money and they lost money. :P

OMG birthday cake!

There are plenty of other things, but those ar ethe highlights. Oh, Paul's Joker is scary. lol It was great seeing everyone!!! I'll see ya at Katsu!

I'm going to watch PR4 again, unpack, sleep?? All I know is that it's WEDDING here on out. lol

My friend Rinkun posted this on lj and I just HAD to post it as well!  The marching band geek within me squees with absolute joy!  I wish there was a way I could still march....  I miss it so much.  And no, I will not join the Raven Marching Band.  Did that, worst time ever, had to leave (and I don't give up easily).

I finished Fran, so I shall be bringing that.  I'm really close to finishing Formal Soi Fong. lol  Like usual, I popped a quick/easy costume in the mix... Cooking Mamma. :D

My Intro to Beading and Embroidery panel will be held on Friday, 10pm... right after TristenCitrine's panel... and during the Formal Dance. ^^;;  I'm still going to the dance, but I'm sure that will hurt attendance.  Oh well!  It'll still be fun!  I love doing this panel.  It's hands on and much chatting is had.  COME!! :D

I'm thinking about entering Fran in the Hall Costume Contest... just cuz.  It's something to pass the time.  Why not right?  I get to hang out with peeps too. ^^

Crap crap crap crap crap.....

Did anyone else notice how it's the end of the month?! CRAP!

Bills are due. I sent out the first wave yesterday. I need to send the morgage out tomorrow as well as the CC. Ooh next month we get to introduce insurance into the bill cycle. AWESOME! /sarcasm

Being dead as work this month took it's toll. I'm slightly dipping into the savings... well, I'm waiting for my paypal check to arrive and I still have 4 shifts left and my tips to pick up from today. But still.... dont' like it. November will be better. December is going to be horrible. I originally was taking off the week before the wedding and the week after. Guess who is back to working right up the the rehearsal dinner. ::points to self:: Not costumes being done in december, unless the centerpieces and favors are done. There ARE 2 wig commissions, but I'm planning to knock those out in November. When these stupid wedding classes are over, I'm back to doubles on Mondays.

I'm so annoyed right now. Christ... I HAVE to have these invitations SENT OUT like... NOW. I'm ready to give the limo company that contacted me $359 just to get that over with. I contacted 5, only one got back to me so far. I have no idea if that's a decent rate.

I RUSHED this costume for my sister. Rushed= last nite and tonite.

I hate the hat. I cut a small and the hat is STILL huge. The hat pattern is ridiculous. Oh wait... that's right... it's a Simplicity pattern. There's nothing "simple" about them. It never fails that I have issues with the pattern company. I'm convinced they don't like me.

That's my babydoll sweater I've been looking for. I'm trying to fill my closet with more than t-shirts. I know... GASP!! Although I'm wearing a t-shirt right now! OMGOMG! :P

Axel and Grimmy:






The Axel is from Amphigory. It's the Punky that goes black to red. The Grimmy is from Cosworx. It's also a Punky. Originally the Grimmy was supopse to come from Amphigory, but all my Credit card stuff got screwed up in the move. I've been fixing it. (Long story short... my CC# didn't match my new address.)

But yeah, I also received my Fran wig from Cosworx. I bought the "ivy" wig. Both times shipping was extremely fast this time around. Hooray!

So... that's what I've been doing this weekend besides constructing a Halibel top and sewing my pieces together for my Soi Fong dress for AUSA. ::twirls finger::

I gotta get back upstairs! Much more to sew... like my sister's Halloween costume.
