I cannot express how exhausted I am right now. Wait, I can! Only a few will get it though.... I'm Nekocon tired!
Friday was the usual Halo ritual. Very calm this time. I chilled with Liz and Meghan in Liz's room. We looked at pretty art, tossed stuffed animals, and talked... oh.. and tired not to fall asleep. We (Brandon and I) left around midnite.
Saturday started off with my sister taking me to a "Basket Bingo." Read as: BRIDAL SHOWER. I had a big feeling it was the shower. I didn't mention anything on-line about it except for a vague post about it being hard to hide things from me (we'll be coming back to that). I knew, but I didn't know either. I did bring Bingo dobbers. ^^ I was surprised, yet not. I have no idea if that makes sense. lol
It was a gathering of mine and Brandon's family. Well, a portion of them. Believe me, there was more. Of course my lovely bridesmaids were there as well. (OMG they came down from up North!) wooooo! Much food was had. MANY gifts were opened. Brandon's dad took them back to the house for us since he has a van. :)
I went to my sister's and hung out with the niece and nephew (the same ones that I never get to see). I was itching to leave since I knew Beth and Lauren were in town. I had a make-up trial at 7, so really, I couldn't go anywhere. Make-up went well. I like. She'll be doing my make up on my wedding day at.... 8 am. GYAAAAAAAH! lol We're going with the "fresh" look. I figured it was morning, it's winter, snow... soft. :D
So, I return home. Beth and Lauren come over and hang for a bit. I gave them the grand tour. We went through gifts and set up a bunch of stuff. There are only a couple things I need to return. We then chilled and watched TV. They left after Bleach.... and I proceeded to fall asleep.
Enter Sunday. Trip to Jo-ann's with my mom and sis. Beth was helping Andy with shelves and Lauren has a migrane so they declined on going, but wanted to hang out before they left. Sis is running late so we get to Jo-ann's late. We shop for about an hour. Lauren wants me to come to Jen's to say goodbye and was animate about it. I didn't know how long we'd be at Jo-ann's or what my family was planning to do. I figured it would be best if she helded home while her migraine was subsided and didn't know if my family would be too keep with me saying "oh hey there! let's go back to my place even though we have all this other shopping to do today!" So yeah.... lol I asked them, they were cool with it. lol
Get to Jen's..... SURPRISE! No one expects the second Bridal Shower!! Friends and co-workers.... wait, I'll just say friends. lol cuz...they are.
Ha ha. Got me... you sons of bitches! You may have won this battle, but I will win the war! Or... something like that!
More food! More games! More people! More presents!! WOOOOOOOO ROOMBA! HA! (Kat, he's charging right now. And yes, I did refer to it as a him.)
My fave game was the whole make a wedding dress out of toilet paper. 2 teams T-Ped my mom and his mom. HA! Project Bridal Runway! Good times!
After that, Jen was WAY tired (my poor Jen!). Beth, Lauren, and I went to my house and began to unpack/wash/sort/assemble everything. The bathroom is no longer Hello Kitty. The bedroom has a bed set and NEW pillows. Kitchen has... APPLIANCES!!! ::humps red stainless steel toaster:: Now, all I need is a trash can. HA!
We ate, played Puzzle Fighter, chatted, hung out... and said goodbye. They are at Jen's right now sleeping. They leave tomorrow while I'm at work. No fair!
So, even though it was an easy weekend... it's been crazy. I'm spent! I had some costume stuff to do this weekend... looks like I'll be cramming it in to this week! :D Oh... and emmissions and an oil change. Doh!
Side note #1: My nephew asks if you want to buy tickets to the "gun show." Funny!
Side note #2: My "brain age" is now 29. I'm no longer checking it. ::winks:: As long as it's my age, I'm good! /nintendo DS talk
Side note #3: Halo nite is at my house this Friday. Come ready to take some dishes, Hello Kitty stuff, and other stuff. ^^

I want to say that I did nothing on Saturday until 6.... and it was glorious. I got all the cleaning done on Friday because of Halo nite. As for sewing, I just didn't do it. ^^;;
I went to Red Lobster last night with Brandon and his friends. All you can eat skrimps. :P Quite tastey. After that, we went to the movies to see the new Resident Evil movie. I don't know if I liked it or not. O.o I think it was the ending that made me go meh... other than that, I liked it. Little bit of a rowdy theater though. Seriously... SHUT THE HELL UP. If I wanted comments DURING the movie, I would have rented it and watched it with friends. I swear there is a new breed of people watching movies. The breed that leaves their trash instead of throwing it away too. You walk right past a trash can! Come on. Stop being lazy. :( When I was your age.....
Anyhow!
I just finished a Halibel wig. I itch all over from the wig fibers. I'm dreading clean-up. God bless my new dust buster! I luv it so.
Time to go. I might play Eternal Sonata, I migt watch CSI, I might do nothing... OH CRAP! LAUNDRY!
I took off today because I wanted to go to T-mode. I decided against going today based on the fact that it would be just me there for today. I really don't mind that, but driving there alone and then leaving AT NIGHT, ALONE what the huge factor in it.
It's working out for the better that I didn't head down today. I've just been dragging all day. I woke up at 11 and felt so bleh. It's taken me a couple hours to finally get rolling. I have some cleaning to do as well as grocery shopping. I prob should shower too. ^^
So... yah, since I'm not at T-mode, I'm sure I'll be at Halo tonight. :D
I WILL be at T-mode Saturday and Sunday. My panel is Sunday. ^^ Wooo!! I think I'm wearing Bis. Something simple and comfy.
I think I'm going to have to get some sort of eel sushi today. I've been craving it for a week now. Jen?????? Mommy-to-be want some sushi? ^^
::sits here:: Yeah.... slow-moving today. So much to do and I can' get rolling. I feel like I could sleep for another 10 hours.

My TGIF hosted their Bar Olympics to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. Think the movie "Cocktail".... but no Tom Cruise. (Btw, speaking of "Cocktail".... it was a TGIF the character started out flipping bottles at. ^^)

Much fun was had last nite. Bartenders flipped their liquor bottles, we cheered. We raised about $6,000 (it was 5, something thing as an early count, but I'm sure we hit 6 or at least reallly close.) for Make a Wish Foundation. WOOOOO!!!
It was great to hang with everyone outside work. I don't do it often. Thanks again for the booth Lauren!! You rock! Question is, do you still smell like an Appletini?? ::winks:: Oops. :)
Everyone went to Della's afterwards. I didn't. The tales I heard this morning.... omg... I wish I had! HA!
As for work today, dead. My regulars did come in though! It's been little over a month. Woo hoo! I got to play catch-up with them. Good times.
I'm going to go upstairs and sew now. :)
