I'm so happy with how things are coming along with this costume, I decided to post progress here, too! 
Ignore the block with the skewer through it. That's for the back of the pendant. The round things on the right are my earrings. The round thing on the bottom is my golden beetle. I think I'll call him Bob.
And so everyone can get an idea of how the butterflies will look, I took a photo with the wings in it. Keep in mind-it still needs paint. And that's my favorite part... *squees in delight*
A month(ish) until AFO. A month to finish Agatha. A month until I get to be in the SAME FREAKIN' BUILDING AS THE WHITE RANGER. Hoping to meet the man... but not counting on it. SO EXCITED!
I just replaced all my missing photos... so there might be a flood of pictures of me... I'm really sorry, everyone!! I know... it's kinda scary... 
I know SO MANY people going to AX this weekend, most are leaving tomorrow, so I wanted to wish all my friends and fellow cosplayers a great time this weekend!! I can't wait to see everyone's awesome costumes!!! I will go one of these years... really, I will...
Thinking ahead to Megacon 2008. I want to get my Cassandra (Soul Calibur) costume made for that, but it depends on whether or not Jamie (Lolita_Minako) can/wants to make her Sophitia. We're still debating on which ones to do. We know it will be the first player costumes, but we're still debating between II and III. If by chance we actually do it (I'm REALLY hoping we do), I might want to arrange a Soul Calibur gathering. It would most likely be on Sunday since Saturday is "OMGCOSTUMECONTEST" day (meaning most cosplayers are in that or what to see that and it takes up the WHOLE day just about, plus it's a stressful day for contestants). It wouldn't be anything spectacular, just a time that Soul Calibur cosplayers can hang out and maybe take pictures together. I know there are a LOT in Florida, and about 99% of them are freakin' AMAZING. And that isn't me being bias, either. I'm only saying 99% because I want to give it a benefit of a doubt even though all the ones I've seen were pretty dern good. Sure, most of them are my friends, but I'm not being bias. If you saw them, you'd agree. =^___^=

This pretty much sums up what these awards are doing to me:
I wish the cosplay community wasn't so dang... catty. I browse different site and see constant BS written about not only myself but my friends and acquaintances. I don't care about the stuff said about me. I'm used to people spreading lies about me. But when they say things about my friends it hurts. Especially when it comes out of someone I thought was my friend (someone you would think would at least have the courtesy to wait until you aren't in a 100ft radius before trash talking people you care for). It would be great for one day everyone just realized that we are all just nerds in costumes. We all have beating hearts and breathe in and out every day. We're all human and thus all make mistakes, but then we grow up and move on. To everyone that doesn't believe everything they hear or read-thank you. And that ends my 12am babble.
