SO MUCH FUN! I took Chris and he loved his first anime convention! We cosplayed, saw a bunch of anime we've never heard of and stuff I've been wanting to see. There were neat costumes all over the pace! People were nice (and some were creepy...but that's to be expected.) We got to hang with PZB and my Brother. We got see Carlos and Clint and Enishi and Snarfles...and I like to type run-on sentences!
I wrote up a nice review with a lot of same adjective son my livejournal.
I don't have any photos up quite yet. My fiance and I rebui;t our computers (all 3 of them) and we need to install photo editing software.
But I should have some photos up soon. ^_^
Costumes worn by Me:
Female Ranma from Ranma 1/2 and Reno from FF7:AC. Had a private photo shoot with Darkian.com. Pictures were stellar quality! Me in my outfit...not so much. *LOL* My wig frizzed, my costume kept unraveling, and I rocked the double chin like no other! *L* I was supposed to be Matsumoto from Bleach...but I have lovingly dubbed it as "Sloppy Mo".
Costumes worn by Chris: Black Mage from Final Fantasy, Undead Rogue from World Of Warcraft, and Henchmen #21 from Venture Bros! Folks loved him! And he wasn't the only WOW cosplayer there, either! ^_^
That's my little review. I'm going to eat breakfast and spend my lovely sunday playing WOW and hanging with my lovely man.
Long story short, finace and I are going as mages for Kumoricon. He'll be a black mage and I will be a white mage. My question is what is a good quality white fabric for a white mage robe? Here is a reference pic:  I have tons of red in a variety of fabrics, but it's the white I'm stumped on. Xposted all over the place! Livejournal, boards, you name it...are you sick of it yet? TOO BAD! 
SO Chris and I watched the first episode of Bleach...lovingly given to me by the cosplayer known as Furtech. He gave me the first 60-something episodes and we are finally getting around to watching them.
So far, so good. Nicely written, interesting story, neat music. I've been out of the loop for so long that it's nice to be kinda-sorta current with at least one anime. *L*
We are watching as much anime as we can between now and Kumoricon. Chris wants to cosplay, but he doesn't really want to cosplay something he knows nothing about. I, on the other hand, let Meat-and-Sarcasm (Ritsuko) and Plude let them dress me as characters I ain't ever heard of! *LOL*
Anyways, I think so far the line up for costumes for Kumoricon are as follows:
Chris: Undead WOW Character, Black Mage from Final Fantasy, and maybe one of the Turks from Final Fantasy. That's up in the air.
Me: Reno from FF:Advent Kids, White Mage from Final Fantasy, and ...who knows. Always love wearing Ranma! And not sure about the Jessica situation. Haven't had a chance to talk to Ritsuko about that. Mostly becuase everytime we talk we are catching up! 
And I've reached 500 on my profile with the little blue stars. Still not sure what that means...but I like stars. 
EDIT: I have such horrible typos! Tried to fix some.
Had a lovely birthday! Got lots of cash, neat trinkets, candles, and $80 worth of Starbuck's Gift Cards! HEAVEN! I'm saving the $50 for con. Gonna need it! The cash is going towards con as well. I don't wanna be caught not being able to buy anything and not being able to go eat out...and I likes my alcohol at con. For some reason, I love sitting in a bar in costume with other cosplayers and drinking...you are taking a wonderful social activity (drinking) and mixing it with an even better social event (convention) and adding a socially odd hobby (cosplay)...and what you get is a wonderful, quirky time...especially if you add a camera! ^_^
Yup, it be my birthday! the big ol' 28. Ok, maybe not OLD, persay...but as of today, that is waht I am...28!
It's not to come off as bragging...but I scored $80 worth of Starbucks gift cards yesturday! Awesome brithday present! I'm so going to take advantage of those later today! Recieved a lot of great stuff including money for my high school reunion, some great books, candles, and a Pet Smart giftcard for Nicodemus!
Had a gettogether for the family...and it was great! Trisha came! That made my day! The Cindy showed up and Chris's sisters! So much fun! So many loud people shoved into one room, eating good food, and just having a good time.
Tonight, Chris and I will go to Chinese Buffet and go see Ratatouille!

Nevermind I totally just dated myself, but it's freakin' Starship! *LOL* To make matters COOLER, I'm looking for a working track of Night Ranger's epic song "Sister Christian"

I'm addicted to Netflix and really out of the loop when it comes to anime.
What anime should I cehck out while I'm a Netflix member? What do you all recommend? I don't care if I've already seen it...I wanna know what folks are watching and what they like.
other than that...I have nothing to do but sit at home and play WOW.
I added more music and made a Top Friend list. ^_^
That's really about it and as exciting as it gets in TweekLand.
SO I hit the 400+ star mark today. I don't know what stars mean, but I've got a ton of them. ^_^ I do a lot of commenting on the galleries...that must be it.
I love to give comments on the galleries. Everyone has such great costumes and photos and interesting concepts...I love this site! I mean, sure, you're going to have the occasional asshole who thinks that they absolutely need to waste their time on ridiculing, negativity, and posting Harry Potter spoilers...*L* but overall I really enjoy the creative energy of this site.
I added one of these neat music list players to my profile. It's full of my favorite songs...and the list continues to grow. Check it out if you like. ^_^ It's on my profile here on cosspace. I may add it to my myspace page, but I really like having "Comfort" be the only song that plays. What can I say? I'm attached to that song!
