I was thinking of doing a cosplay photoshoot this
coming summer. Last year C^3 hosted one and I had a great time and been
thinking of doing one again this year. I enjoyed taking pictures around
the Buckingham Fountain and Millenium Park. Maybe this time it won't be
scouching hot and won't have to dip ourselves in those waterfall
towers. XD I was thinking some time in the middle of July. How does
that sound for anyone that's interested?
The tentative schedule for the photoshoot.
When: July 14, 2007
Time: Meet at hotspot at 8:00 am

I'm adding some additional information here before anyone asks me some questions.
- Cosplay isn't a requirement. You may come along with us and hang out. We are here to have some fun.

Please keep the behavior to the point where we don't hurt anybody or
ourselves. I cannot take responsibility for your accidents or problems.

We are gathered to have fun. Not destroy our days. If any of you guys
have a problem with someone, please refrain from being near them.

If there's any emergencies please let me know before you leave. I don't
like having anyone missing from the group unless they tell me where
they are going to be.
- Try to wear something that you can handle under summer weather. We don't want anyone dehydrating themselves under a costume.

Props or weapons brought to the photoshoot must be checked by me via
online. Show me a picture and I'll contact you if it's Ok or not. I'm
trying to refrain from very sharp objects or very big weapons, but I'll
only know if you guys show the picture of it.
- You can bring your
own snacks and drinks just in case you guys get hungry during the
photoshoot. I also believe there are concession stands at Millenium
Park so bring some money if you want some of those. Just make sure you
have enough for Navy Pier.
- All of you should be responsible for
your own costumes and other cosplay possessions. If any of them get
lost, just pray you find it asap.
- Late comers can still join us as long as you have someone in our group you can contact of our whereabouts.

We will start traveling to the first area, Buckingham Fountain, at
10:45am. Though the schedule timing could be kinda off on when we are
going next.
- After the Navy Pier photoshoot, everyone is free to do
whatever. I may still have a group with me to stay longer there so you
guys can tag along or separate. Just make sure you have a way home.
- Each location we will spend about 45-60 minutes doing our thing during the photoshoots.

When we arrive at the locations, we will do one massive group shot and
then breakout on our own to do our individual/mini group shots.

I'll call out a 10 minute warning before each photoshoot so everyone
could finish up and group up to go to the next location, so don't
wonder off too far.
- Please everyone, check the forums before you
leave. Weather can sometimes be unpredictable and if it rains or
anything. I may post a cancellation of the photoshoot if the weather
decides to take it's toll in the city.
This site is pretty interesting since it's like a combination of myspace and cosplay.com. The menus are good for a start, but I bet it will get better when the popularity increases. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be spamfest like myspace. I'm really looking forward to the css and html customization here since I kinda like to do that on myspace. I'm interested on how this site will become in future times.
