I recently found out about this place while browsing through cosplay.com's forums. It looked really cool so I signed up XD
As far as the convention situation goes, there's definitely two I'll be going to for sure in the next few months. The first is Fanime in San Jose. I'll only be attending Saturday though and I'll most likely go as Phoenix Wright :)
For Anime Expo, which is still far off, I'm not exactly sure who I'll go as of yet. Maybe Kyon? Maybe Tuxedo Mask XD? Gah, well at least I have a few options ^^

The AX hotel I had booked was Westin Bonaventure through the AX website. Its a shame I couldn't get anything closer. And the fees! Oh man.. $140 a night -_-;
