Online Relationships
Posted On 09/14/2007 22:39:55

Do they really lasts?! I mean everyone has someone they flirt with online(or two...or three) but I can't help but wonder if they really do make the cut, AND if people really do see other people that they chat up with. o_0

I could see if you where going to be at the same Con as the other person...but to meet up!?!?

Well...take chances...make mistakes!!

Me and my Moogle
Posted On 09/11/2007 21:35:20

I never thought I could end up being happy after I found out I was pregnant. I thought, like many single mothers "WHAT the hell am I going to do?!" But after this you just can't help but calm down..and smile...and think of all the cute and corny cosplays you can do with the wittle one...

-sighs-

I guess I can say, though I felt all alone and hopeless, the greatest love I needed in my life...was growing inside me all this time. ^^

A-a-a-anime Banzai!

My first actually con and my first cosplay to come up, I'm excited...but I'm dead tired...my Gidget has failed meh but my shorty has not and I'm excited!!

I'm also thinking about going as a JEM character...I wish I could of went as Fran, but that seemed like the con "To Do" this year. -sigh-

Oh well, I won't see my computer for awhile...but I love it!

My chicken...

But with all joking aside, this weekend is Utah's only Con and I'm pretty excited. I'll be hosting a guitar hero tournament there and can't wait to see what's going to happen!

Posted On 08/19/2007 11:20:56

Alright! Our beloved fundraiser got rained out...BUT we are trying it again next saturday. But I think I will take this chance to try and discuss more fundraising ideas for the Humane Society...and also try and obtain some.

so far I have:

Ice Cream Socials, Lan Parties, Calendar, Bikini Team, Car Washes, Leaf Raking, Snow boarding activities, Fashion Show, Fantasy Charity Ball...

AND NOW I NEED MORE!!! XD

Cosplay for a "Cos"
Posted On 08/17/2007 19:15:32

So some of the local cosplayers are getting together to dress up like nekos and different characters and wash cars to earn money for our local Humane Society and I am happy!!

It's taken few teeth pulling to get this to work out but it is and we're finally get our loverly little pets some help! We've even had an article written about us in the local paper! Kudos to charity work!!

Now I rest...for tomorrow...is a big day!

Wish us luck!

Taking cosplaying too seriously...is it possible?
Posted On 08/16/2007 09:31:02

Cosplay was started for fun and to show off ones skills is what I believe, but when people start to belittle others who aren't at their "lvl" of advancement, isn't that a bit too far?

I had one person try and "assist" me with my photoshop piece when I clearly stated it was photoshoped. I mean, how the heck is a girl going to really have a mermaid tail that is really scale-filled? Heck I was just proud that I didn't butcher it...as usual. XD

But seriously...when people are so wrapped up in themselves and their cosplays that they start to look down on others (Not because they are taller, but because they are so much..."better") it kinda makes you cringe a bit...well at least me...

To heck with the lvl of skill and enough with the tude...it's all cosplay baby...so pull ya head out ya butt and have fun!!

This has been another rant by NekoNivi Productions.

It kills people to do charity work...
Posted On 08/15/2007 18:08:41

Ok...here's my rant.

Since I've started working with the Humane Society with the carwash ordeal I've been getting replies asking "Who's supposed to wash the cars" as if you didn't know when you asked me! If you volunteered then it's you DUH!?!

But what pisses me off is why are there so many people who are all "I want to help out, I want to do this, I want to do that" But when it comes down to doing it, they are all iffy...

Like I was supposed to help train others in CPR but due to a new found infection in my nose that has kept me at bay for a bit, I can't. Real life happens true, but don't be all gung ho for months and months preaching how much of a saint you are when I find someone who's in need of your help and you're suddenly waaayyyyyyyyy to busy.

THEN when you finally show up you want to cry and moan because the workload is too much on you...

What ever happened to people actually be charitable? I mean is it really dying out? The need and want to care for others?

Give me a fudgeing break...

HELP!!!!
Posted On 07/23/2007 15:20:20

I'm so amazed at how fast time has gone by this year. It was not too long ago I was singing happy birthday to me and now Anime banzai is right on my doorstep and I am far from finished. T_T le sigh...

Now though, I'm having second thoughts with a costume. I love the Utena cosplays, though many have done them. I thought I would try my hand at it. not exactly sure where to start being the novice I am...but I wouldn't mind a few pointers.

What costume should I do? Where do I start? etc.
