Now that I've recoverd from the picnic I want to share with you something I've learned/seen that hurts me deeply.
People and their clicks!! Although cosspace is relitively friendly, even here it seems that people only stick to certain "Cosplay levels" and visa versa or just want a grand "Fan base" instead of truly having fun.
Back to the picnic...
I really want to try and break down the walls of exclusion and drama as much as I can because we already have "class" issues in society, shouldn't we try to stop such problems in the world of cosplay we hold so very very dear?
Oh well...just some thoughts as I sigh slightly and head to my DnD game.

Besides the amazing amount of people showing up in costumes, we overall had a great blast! Chinese tourest where taking pictures of us, we where taking pictures of each other, eating, play fighting and wow...simply wow....and since the event is now over and I can think clearly...I am going to sleep.
I highly recommend an anime picnic in your neck of the woods...it brings EVERYONE together. We even had Anime Goths and J-Rockers there! Not to mention a ganguro or two!

This is far from the end...in fact...this is quiet the beginning...
She didn't know what to expect as she viewed the looking glass with unease, watching Kurai's every movement as she scaled the graveyard towards the hauntings that lied within.
It had really come down to this...Kurai and Nivita, once proud dears to their masters now fighting them endlessly for purposes sickening...for faiths lost...and for hopes that have yet to be shattered. The hopes of finding peace within their own lives and within each other...and within the magic of their minds.
Nivita paced uneasily as she continued to search for things to increase the spell of protection around her companion and finally returned to the looking glass. Her eyes gave way as the site before her made her gasp and run quickly towards the door that exited the tower she was to remain hidden within...only to be caught moments later...by her generousity.

I hope you understand this.
The whip was raised and released with a thunderous clap against the trunk of the tree. The bark flinging itself mercilessly against the air as the cloaked figure bent to retrieve it. Lord Greybear was a great shaman in the riverside village of Feigna and his teachings where that of wisdom and power but regarded to remember the mother in each way possible. He was that of great age, standing a massive 6'3" above the other villagers, hair stringy and lengthy as the rest of his being, hung light and grey as the name he was given about his face and shoulders. He was kind yet strict towards the underlings of the village, teaching them the ways of the mother and showing them the light within their souls that they never must lose, yet the light within another caught his eye more than any appretice should.
Her name was Nivita, a prodigy within the village who was blessed with the eyes of the mother and with the hands of peace. An orphan of the War of Tides between the Coven of the norths, her smile was a cool touch to the nature that was about her. She was very small in stature, her curse of 5'2", and petite, making her most vunerable to the preditors of the forest, the reason she scarely leaves the village alone if at all. The pride and joys of the Shaman council...and the unwaviered heart of Greybear himself.

To be continued....
I don't even think there is such a word to discribe how great GC was here in the lake! I promise you that no matter what your creed you would of had so much fun with everyone! From amazing dances to bands to outfits! Hell! We even got someone who's interested in having us model for them at Anime Banzai(Utah's ONLY Anime Convention) and had the time of our lives!
We even got the pleasure of meeting someone who's very interested into spoof movies and humbly calls their faction S.O.R.P. ( http://66.34.10.12/aaamembersnew/zac/pilot1.htm I ) I want you to watch these clips because I PROMISE you that of all the Zelda spoofs I've seen, this by far tells you exactly what Link is thinking.

Dizzy's Inverse Colors make her skin darker and her hair bright yellow and her outfit white. so I hope to pull her off that way.

Fran, who has gotten the most votes so far, will probably make her appearance at Anime Banzai, SLC UT. Maybe I'll be able to attrack a RL Balthier...-swoons-

Cute little Nadia. I've seen a lot of girls doing this one but now it's my turn to give it a shot!

If anything I loooooooove this neko's outfit! I can wear it when I go to the club here in town anyway when I'm done. =)
That's it for now...and I think...that's enough XD
So tomorrow is the big day where we meet up with the warlocks, also come to find out there's con tomorrow too dedicated to Gothics called the Dark Arts Faire. I can't wait but I'm going to be super dead and busy! I hope all of you have a wonderful night!
