So tomorrow is Friday you know what that means!?! Okay so you probably don't. Super-Tag!!! You don't know what super-tag is? Then I'll tell you.
Super-tag is basically tag BUT it is ONLY played on playground equipment AND everyone has a nickname. For example my nickname is Norwegia. Each nickname has a background story as to why you got that name and everyone around at the time of deciding your name has to make sure it is worthy enough.
Okay so who ever is it, is the only person that can be on the ground. (think of it has hot lava) The others have to stay on the equipment unless land bridges are made to connect certain pieces of equipment to another. There are taunts people can make to the person that is it such as the crotch taunt. Meaning you thrust your crotch at the 'it' person. There's more but I don't want to discuss them all!!!
When someone is tagged then you call out their nickname. If you don't have a nickname then you will always be called 'That one kid,' no matter what! Even if there are 10 people without nicknames, all 10 would be called 'that one kid.'
Well that's super-tag in a nutshell. I hope all of you who read this enjoy this game and spread it to your group of friends. You can play it with as many as you want! (the largest group we had was 30ish or more) Oh and you always start it off with a nice friendly game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to find out who will be it. Can't wait to play! ENJOY!!! ^_^
Okay game day was yesterday, but I haven't written for a while. So yesterday was the first game of the season!!! For those college football fans (more importantly Husker fans!) In short, Nebraska beat Nevada and it was awesome!
Besides that game day started 8:00 yeserday morning. The band (which I'm in) began practice to the open public. Lots of people were there which was kind of surprising probably because it usually rains before the game. Almost every game last year was like that and yes the band practices in the rain no matter what!
Show time!!! Pre-game is like the most AWESOME thing you could see at a Husker football game! 84,000-85,000 fans cheering and then the tunnel walk. Let me tell you, when you're on the field waiting for the players to run on you cannot hear yourself talk or scream!!! It's that amazing.
The only thing that sucked yesterday was the heat. 90 degree weather and you're wearing a band uniform. *dies* It was soooooo HOT! There was no shade until the game was over! Anyways, can't wait for the next game! We performing a James Bond theme and it's against the number 1 team in college football, USC. Go HUSKERS!!!! ^_^
So two weeks ago AlchemyUser, Ender, and I had a Naruto photoshoot. It was awesome! Though it kind of sucked when it began raining, but you couldn't even tell! Which was awesome. We took pictures at our campus parking lot and on campus itself. Also at a fountain that was just amazing. The last...probably 50 shots are all done when it was dusk. There was no light at all, but you can't even tell either.

AI was a blast! I'm so happy that I went! I met a lot of people there by accident that I've seen on cosplay.com It was my first time there and I was quite impressed! First of all...I only smelt one smelly person!!! All three days! Can you believe it?! I can't, but everyone smelt like a normal person. Also lots of those people were very nice and so were the con-workers.
The photoshoots were fun as well! Though REALLY HOT!!! Since it was almost 100 degrees outside when we were taking them. But I have to say out of all the photoshoots I was in, The Ouran photoshoot was the best! My sister and I had our forshadowing arrows as well as our roses! AND everyone else had their own roses. It was at 11:00 at night too! I was quite surprised at how many people were there taking pictures of the Ouran group. And to top the Ouran photoshoot off, we played Red light, Green lighat and went to Perkins for ice cream!!!
The cosplay contest was good, but not the best. I wish they would have allowed skits. They did have some, but they HAD to be 30 seconds or less. Most of the skits that were performed were pretty good too.
All the guests were pretty awesome! My sister and I got to 'host' Steve Bennett and Greg Ayres in our Ouran costumes and there was also an Ouran Tea party! We had a Death Note pj party that was fun too.
When we were heading home we got caught in this HUGE storm! It was sooooo scary, and yet...really exciting. The wall cloud was very intimidating. Within a minute of entering the storm there was no visibility. We had to pull over on the interstate and wait for it to clear up. Everyone driving had their emergency flashers on and were going about 40 on the interstate. WE tried pulling off into a rest area but it was so full that we just had to keep driving. We have footage of the storm and my firend will be definitely putting it up on youtube with the rest of our AI footage. When I get the link I post it!
I'll be posting photos soon. I'm still trying to unpack right now! I'm hoping to go to AI next year, but I'm preparing for my next con...Anime Nebraskon!
So tomorrow my group and I are heading out to Anime Iowa. A five hour trip. Which isn't bad compared to the 12 hour drive from Nebraska to Texas for A-kon.
Can't wait! And have a great weekend! ^_^
So in four days I'm heading with a group of friends to Anime Iowa! ^_^ I was going to wait to write this later, but I was bored and decided I would right it today. Anyways, this will be my first time going to AI. I hope it's good.
Already my sister and I are going to be busy. First night we're having a private photoshoot. Which I'm excited to do. We're having two Allen Walkers and Celes and Locke from FF6.
That night we're having a Death Note pajama party!!! So if you're going to AI and love Death Note or something like that join us in pjs!
Saturday I have two more photoshoots for Naruto and Death Note....I think that's all I know for now. I know there's supposed to be cosplay chess, but I don't know what happened to that. We were going to be in the cosplay contest but everything has to be under 30 seconds. (Which is not enough time to do a skit) So this will be the first time we're not particpating in a cosplay contest.
My cosplays for the weekend if anyone wanted to know are: Allen Walker, Sakura Haruno, Light Yagami, and Kaoru Hitachiin.

For the first time this summer it's actually thunderstorming in Nebraska! O_o Okay it may not be amazing to others, but seriously it's been hot a dry the whole summer and we haven't had any thunderstorms yet. I'm just waiting for our tornado watch. Then I can go outside (I think only people who live in the midwest would understand that).
Okay another thing...Two nights ago I finally after such a long wait watched the last episode of Code Geass! And all I can say is I can't wait for the second season. They ended it with such a great cliff hanger that it's like, "Oh my god!!! No! There has to be more!!! NO! You can't end it there!!!" That's how I felt. ^_^'
One last thing. Have you ever noticed that when people write on each other's wall it's always the same? Like, "I like your such and such cosplay" or "Cool 'insert name of character'" or "You look just like 'character' from 'that series'!" I know I do that to, but is there any other way to write on someone's wall. It gets annoying know I have nothing to say to someone when you want to write to them and you just end up writing one of those lines.
Maybe it's just me...I like complimenting people but....how can you write back to someone without being all stalker like? You know what I mean? Because you know that they're going to write "Thanks" and maybe add something about your cosplays, then you want to right back to them, but what do you write!? Okay so I'm thinking too much. X_x

ONE MORE thing!!! Today my sister and I made some fake blood. We're planning to be 'walking spoilers' which I know is bad, but the ending of Death Note has been out there for a long time. And most know who had died in the show. My sister at A-kon cosplayed as dead L (she had wings and a halo) This time I'm going to cosplay with her as a dead Light (I'm going to be covered in blood!)
Back to fake blood. We made it then we had to put it on the shirt. I decided to wear it since that would be the best way to look at how the blood should go. In the end it looks awesome. I'll have to get a couple of pics up of it! Though, now my arms, hands, stomach, and back are dyed a light red. Which kind of sucks, but it's all good. Now all I have to do is find a watch like Light's, then bloody up my right hand and dirty up my face and I'll have a Dead Light! so yeah that's been my day...I'm going to watch the thunderstorm now! ^_^
Okay it was The Simpson's Movie and you really do get pwned. (for people who've already seen the movie you'll probably understand that). A few friends, my sister and I went to the movie last night. We wanted to go the the 7:30 showing so we got to the theater a little over an hour early to get tickets but they were already sold out! Which was crazy!. But we just bought tickets for the 9:40 showing.
It kind of sucked to have to wait that long, but it was so totally worth it. But at the mall where the theater was there was a concert going on so we watched that, then went to Juice Stop for the best smoothies ever!!! Then to Barnes and Noble to read manga! Yay....okay enough with the boring stuff.
By the time we come back it's 9:00 and there's already a line out the doors of the theater just to get into the screening room. Then we got to go in and they wree giving out free doughnuts and napkins that said 'Duff Beer' on them. Loved that. They were also giving out free movie posters, but they rean out by the time we got to them. So yeah the movie was Hilarious!!!! I won't spoil anything for anyone, but I'll just say there some things now when you watch the show that will change your mind about a character in a funny way!
I so recommend anyone who is a Simpsons fan to go see the movie. It is worth the money! Very awesome! You will laugh so much!!! ^_^
