So yeah has anyone ever attended an anime convention in the Midwest?  I have!  That's because I live in Nebraska and most other conventions are too far away from me.  So I was just thinking is there really only three conventions in the Midwest?  Anime Iowa, Naka-con, and Nebraskon? 

 Anyways I wanted to share some advertising news!  So these past weekends a group of cosplayers and myself have gone all over my city to shoot and film commericals for the Anime Nebraskon.  It's been quite fun.  Though the heat kind of sucks.  90 degree weather and your wearing layers with no breeze...lets just say everyone had to go to the bathroom constantly beacuse of all the water we drank :) What I'm trying to say is when we get done editing our commericals and there's quite a few we made I want you to check them out! 

 One of our goals is to make Anime Nebraskon the largest convention in the Midwest!  Who doesn't want to see a group of Bleach and Naruto cosplayers doing live action fighting with REAL SWORDS.  Believe me we had a few accidents with slicing of fingers and ankles, but nothing more than a bandaid was needed. ^_^'

We have a few more commericals to film. (spoiler one of them is a parody of Reading Rainbow)  Got some Pulp Fiction themes, Evangelion, Naruto, Utena, Final Fantasy, Bleach, Ouran, Death Note, and more!  So you won't be watching the same characters in each commerical.  So when we finish I'll post a link as to where they'll will be.  Mostly likely on the Nebraskon site and Youtube.

One last thing.  I just found out the Code Geass was also Lincensed!!!

OMGOSH!!!!   Have you heard!?!  No?  Well to all Ouran High School fans out there.  It has been licensed!!!  Oh man I am excited.  I'm hoping the english voices will be good.  FUNimation will be picking the voices.  *prays* Please be good in english! Anyways, we fans have to be patient.  It won't be out until 2008. ^_^

So I just found out that Nebraska has the highest gas prices!!!  God that's so freakin' sucks!  How could Nebraska have the highest prices?  I'm surprised that the coastal states are only hitting a little over $2.00.  We haven't had two dollar gas for a couple of years now! 

 And it sucks since for my car it ranges from 30-40 dollars! Eck!  No wonder I never have any money.  I have to spend it all on gas.  Good thing I ride my bike to work most days or I really wouldn't have any money.  I think our gas price is 3.49 now?  I'm not really sure. It's always changing now.  Reminds me of the currency rate in England when I was there.  Everyday it kept changing.  I'm just glad that I don't own a SUV.  To fill up one of those it's 60-80 dollars!  Now that is not worth it!

So yeah I just finished the latest epsiode of Code Geass and I'm like.... O_o...*jaw drop*   Did that seriously just happen!?!  Don't worry I won't spoil anything for anyone.  That made me so sad.  I can't wait for the next two episodes which will be shown in a hour special. (don't remember the day exactly but July twenty-something.

 Oh one more thing, a couple of my friends ans I have been discussing a problem that we can't quite figure out.  We do a versus comparison.  First we decided what anime is closely similar to Code Geass.  We finally came up with Death Note.  If you've seen both you'd understand that DN is probably the only anime that you could compare it with.  Also the versus...we're in the middle of trying to decide who would win in a fight.  Light or Lelouch?  They both have their good qualities and thier bas ones, but who would win?  I'm leaning towards Lelouch since he can control minds, but Light would be smart enough to figure that out.  It's quite difficult.  who do you think would win in a fight?

So yesterday my sister and I decided that we wanted to do a Death Note photoshoot with Light and L in Summer attire.  So we did.  It was great fun and I'll have to upload some pictures here when I get the chance. (Been busy and its the Fourth so I probably won't get them up today)  The rest that I don't show will be on my cosplay.com account.  (I have the same username there) 

 We went to a park that was a few blocks away from us.  It was fun but it was way too hot.  For those people who live in the Plains area know that you have HOT summers and COLD winters.  It was probably almost 100 out with no wind.  The usual summer weather for Nebraska.  I'm quite amazed that the pictures came out so well and didn't show us sweating our asses off in those wigs! ^_^  Well when I upload some pics, go check them out!

So yay! I'm finally on cosspace.  My twin has been bugging me for awhile to get on here and I finally broke down and I join!

Though it took awhile to get everything situated.  Kind of a pain since you have to upload one picture at a time and the layout of my homepage was a little troubling to find and pick which colors were best to use.

 So yeah, Ouran Host Club theme! My current obession...not really, but one of my ALL TIME favorite animes to watch.  My REAL obession right now is Air Gear.  I so want som air treks it's not even funny.  One day I', going to find a way to make a motor small and strong enough to be used on a inline skate and make them!  Then I can sore through the sky too! ^_^ Yeah, I probably won't fly, but it would be fun.
