21 year old girl from the UK.
I've cosplayed on and off for the past 4 years. I'll be pretty honest here: I sometimes lack the motivation to finish projects. I have a graveyard of half done costumes! Please mourn their loss. To me, cosplay is the ideal hobby as it combines my two favourite things in the world, theatre and Japanese culture.
I feel more motivated when I see the work others around me in the UK produce. I have such respect for everyone who cosplays and especially those who inspire me to try harder.
My other big love is music - especially Japanese music. I DJ at club events and conventions around the UK and have written articles about the subject. I tend to travel abroad to see the acts I like, but with the growing interest in jmusic here in the UK, hopefully that won't always be the case. I tend to stay out of the 'scene', but I always like to meet new people interested in jmusic.
Most other times you'll find me drunk on mojitos, yelling rubbish or playing Harvest Moon, wooing the local ladies and doting on cows.
