I never know what to write about for these things.

Basically I'm a married 24 year old grad school dropout working in retail. I'm planning on going back for my Masters in Museum Studies because I'm a huge nerd for East Asian history and culture. Meanwhile, I've been spending my free time with my hubby and friends doing whatever comes our way. I'm pretty laid back and I'm open to new things.

Speaking of new things, I'm new to cosplay. Two of my friends (the owners of Full and Lovely Cosplay- check out their cosspace group!) have introduced me to it. I was nervous about starting cosplay because I'm a plus size gal but it's not as awkward as I thought it would be. I just finished my first costume and wore it to JAFAX this year. It was more fun than I had expected. The sewing, the swearing, the awkwardness of posing for pictures in public places, it's glorious! I definitely need to improve but I'm looking forward to many more costumes in the near future!
