So yea... blogs... I'm not a blog-type of person though I've done a video blog... once .... yeah. Anyway, I just felt like giving in to whats 'in' and decided to make this here blog that probably no one will read. I'm cool with that. But I guess I'll type down whats going on with me anywayz...
So AnimeNEXT is in less than 2 weeks and I'm NOT ready. Now if that was all, I'd have no problem getting myself together. But there's this whole family cruise vacation i have to worry about getting in my way. Don't get me wrong, cruises are awesome and I'm thankful I'm blessed with such opportunities... but its still slightly annoying that this trip HAD to land on the week before AnimeNEXT. I will be missing Friday because of this trip and it REALLY cuts down my time to finishing my cosplay. Ok, so I really only need to finish one costume from now until Friday night... but this is me I'm talking about and I'm a very procrastinating procrastinator lol The good thing is that I only have a few extra things to do, nothing MAJOR. Sew a pocket on, add 5 small accessories, completely re-do the cuffs (geh... so annoying), dye my face mask, and make my temp tattoos. I should be working on these things rather than making this blog... oh well.
Once AnimeNEXT is over, I have about 2 weeks to complete another costume for Otakon. Well, the costume itself is done, but I need to finish the wig and make the most annoying prop everrr. I'm talking about my Demyx cosplay, and of course his lovely sitar. The only thing I actually did so far for that was make a few patterns of the base and get most of the materials. The wig I have, I just need to cut it to the right length and spike it. I'm surprised that I was able to test spike it so well since this'll be my first wig I actually styled (never needed to before) and I might just start thinking about becoming a commissioner... maybe... ehhh.... well I'll keep thinking about that lol
Besides that, this'll be my first time at Otakon so I'm pretty excited ^ ^ I'm even trying to see if I can go to AnimeUSA for a first as well, but it all depends on how much money I can make before then -_-;; Oooh how I hate the overly expensiveness of this hobby. And even if I am able to find the money for AnimeUSA, I still need a ride that is affordable. But then again, I really wanted to start making two more costumes for conventions in 2008 and if I spend that money on AnimeUSA I'm not sure what's going to happen...
Well, time will tell for that and I should just be worried about right now and how I'm going to finish my cosplays for AnimeNEXT and Otakon. For those of you actually reading all of this... HI! and I love you ^ ^ haha
