Just at the school, waiting for my teacher to get back so i can learn my mark for my last project. I'm in an indescribably foul mood right now, and I don't know why. Maybe it's because it's blazing hot out, i walked too fast to get to school and arrived annoyingly early :/ Or maybe it's just that I'm bloody tired of idiots. I used to really enjoy going on Cosplay.com, and I learned alot from it in my early days there. I joined on August 2002, and back then people actually KNEW each other and you could ask for advice and someone who knew something would actually give you it. Now when I look on the advice forum, half of it is supplied by obnoxious kids who don't know glue from maple syrup. And the threads that ARE useful, are quickly drowned out by the same threads being created over and over again by morons who don't check to see if one was already there.
Bah, anyway. The stem of my crabbiness is probably the fact I need to clean my apartment, do a load of laundry and start on Otakon poope :/
Starting on my final project for Colour and Composition.
I think this project will either drive me insane, or be alot of fun. Or both. Turns out I have the flu, which I caught on Eureka7 sunday from ANEMONE who was getting over it herself.
So it's hailing out. (Bizarre weather.)
And I'm sick.
And I don't want to go to school D: But I have to, cause we have a stupid test today. Which I didn't bother buying the 30$ book to study from. Stupid school takes enough of my money already.
So I spent all day yesterday, running around cosplaying, IN PUBLIC. Mostly the ROM, Union station and an ATTEMPT at the beach. We couldn't quite find it.
This is a first for me, as I am usually quite terrified of going out in public in costume. Seeing people I know from school, unwanted attention, etc. But actually, IT WASN'T BAD.
Though the sheer amount of people who knew we were cosplaying/wearing anime cotumes/from E7 was astounding. TORONTO IS FULL OF CLOSET ANIME FAGS, EVERYONE GOES TO CONVENTIONS.
Am I the only one who finds it weird when people pay to advertize their personal cosplay sites? I mean, if its a business it makes more sense. Huh. Well anyway, my random thought of the day is over.
Back to being a prime waste of space.
So yeah, I joined this thing. Mainly on the insistance of a few of my friends. I've never had a Myspace or Facebook, so I'm new as to whole all this stuff works. I have an LJ, which I update sporadically. Anyway uhh..
First blog. I'm at school after another 'eventful' colour and comp class. I'm going to miss it when its gone, however boring. My teacher bloody rocks.
I think for my last assignment I'm going to make a corset out of grommeted together and reinforced photographs, which we've had to take every day of the week since starting this class Anyway, what the hell is with this point crap? I'm getting points for things I'm so good at I don't even know I'm doing them apparently.
