Since the dawn of cosplay, there have been the do's, and dont's regarding costumes, but what about the ooh's and oh la la's?
That's where "Sexy Cosplay" comes into play, but the sex appeal means nothing if you don't have the kindness to back it up, and that's exactly what the ConVixens are all about.
A troupe organized and created by the lovely Merika Rock, she has this to say about her traveling troupe of grace, elegance, and reincarnation of fun!
"Convention Vixens (aka ConVixens™), is an organization of traveling girls dressed as cosplay characters of their own creation. These characters reflect different genres of fandom that touch on Sci-Fi, Pop Culture, Video Games, Comic Books, Anime, Asian Cinema, Horror and Fantasy," she says, "ConVixens™ appear at conventions and are supported with artwork and partnerships by such greats, as fantasy artist Larry Elmore. They are the real life models, which the fans can meet in person."
So I personally browsed both the myspace and the main site itself, and have come to the conclusion, they are far from another "Cute Click" of women trying to bring in money, manipulate geeks, and grow egos the size of Manhattan. They are here to push the interest of gaming, anime, cosplaying, and though they know they are talented in the looks department, they know that humbleness builds bridges that last more than half-nakedness.
So I say to the forefront of cosplaying, WELCOME aboard ladies and we wish you much success as you've caught the eye of NekoNews.com and we hope you catch the heart of many, many more!

I would like to announce the launching of our official website. WWW.CONVIXENS.COM. Bear with us, the website is not complete. You will notice there are still inactive links to parts of the site or to view certain photo elements. These things will be added in the upcoming days and weeks, and should be full-throttle by the summer convention season. I'd like to take a moment to thank the girls who have come on board for season one. Your hard work and efforts to make this project possible will not go unnoticed. - Can't wait to see what season two brings in Feb. 2009. I would like to give a very special thanks to Fantasy Artist LARRY ELMORE. He's been a true friend over the years and I appreciate his support and time put forth in providing artwork for the ConVixens first season. From all of us girls - THANK YOU LARRY!!! 
I have revealed the first of the artwork of Miss Kenzie. Be on the lookout for more to be posted soon. (Larry's only one man people - so be patient ;)
