So back from ANEXT and it was a bunch of fun...
I didn't get my Allen cosplay done, but instead I ended up wearing Pakkun. It's been a few years since I donned that costume and it was fun, though very hot. But not as bad as wearing King Mickey last year.
Wore Hitsugaya on friday and Pakkun saturday. Had some really awesome margaritas. Had fun on pictochat during the masquerade. Bought a few anime dvd's and a wallscroll and a few knick-knacks from the dealers room.
I got to see pretty much everyone this weekend. It was great! Though sorry I didn't get a chance to personal goodbye to everyone before we all went our own ways, but hey, it was great seeing you all and I wish I had gotten to spend more time with all of you.
In another hour or so, I'll be leaving work and heading home getting packed up and waiting for ppls to show up so we can caravan to the con. Like always, I procrastinated and will have to do some costume work at the con, but I can do it! lolz.
Mostly sticking to a few older outfits and one's that I've had around, just feel like taking this con really nice and easy then spazz afterwards to get ready for Otakon and finish up the stuff I've been working on for that. Yeah...
FYI - Silent Hill is a definate motivating factor for cosplay work in the household. I think we watched it like 5 times last night while we were working on our stuff. Though we ran out of floorspace and Sephserrot got raped of any floor space he was taking up.
Conversation was had regarding the various inuendos in D.Gray-man. XD Kanda's special katana moves, Lavi's "growing" hammer. Uh-huh. *giggles* And supposedly I'm getting raped by Tiki this weekend... o.O
All in all hoping for a nice weekend. Though mother nature decided to turn the heat up and it's going to be 30 degrees warmer by the end of the weekend. Ick Ick Ick. I could so do without the heat and humidity for cosplay.
Soon enough though, the fall will hit and I'll be like "IT NEEDS TO BE WARMER." Namely so I can ride the motorcycle. Which saves me a ton of gas money, as long as I'm not grocery shopping. hint: don't do grocery shopping when riding a motorcycle... .
