So after some
words with our host and about 2 hours worth of work we managed to get
everything for the site fixed and even updated the main page and
private photoshoot info at the same time.

ANIME EVOLUTION 2007

With Anime Evolution almost around the corner ohSNAP would like to formally announce the opening of reservations for photoshoots for this years convention. This years photoshoots will run a bit differently then last years.

Private Photoshoot Pricing
With
the wear and tear that conventions and shoots have on our equipment as
well as the labor that goes into every photoshoot we do, ohSNAP is
introducing a photoshoot fee. These prices are as followed:

$20 for 1/2 hour for one person.
$5 for each additional person.
$10 for an additional 1/2 hour.

You
will receive 20 pictures for 1/2hour and 20 additional pictures for any
additional 1/2 hour purchased meaning that you will be receiving 40
pictures for an hour shoot.

Prices are non negotiable and will be discussed before the photoshoot just incase anything is unclear.

NOTE:
Everyone in the shoot must be 18 or over. If someone is not, but still
wants to participate, they must have a legal guardian sign the required
release form. To get this form please contact us and we will send you a
copy which you are to bring signed to the shoot.

Why should I even book ohSNAP now that there are these prices?

Well unlike other photographers with ohSNAP you dont just get one
photographer but TWO for the price of one. We like to see this as a
large bonus for the cosplayers as this is not offered by any other
cosplay site.

What do I get if I do sign up?
When
you sign up for a private shoot with us you receive your own gallery
which will showcase you in 20 pictures as well as a photo CD. Prints
can also be obtained. For information on prints you will need to
contact us for more information.

Artist Alley

We will also be getting a Artist Alley table
this year at the convention. This table will be open as another way for
you to receive ohSNAP's services at the convention this year. Some of
the services that we will be offering this year include:

-On site photoshoot bookings-We
will be leaving a couple spots open in our days for people who were
unable to pre-book photoshoots with us. These will be very limited in
number and given on a first come first serve bases.
-Photo prints-
During the convention starting on the thursday ohSNAP photographers
will be around taking the pictures of cosplayers and the like. We will
then take these pictures and display them on a laptop that will be
playing at our table in a constant loop of all new pictures that we
have taken until then. These shots will be available to the cosplayers
to purchase a print. (Note:only the actual cosplayers my purchase their
own pictures.)
-Single shots and prints-In
case we have yet to catch your picture we will be offering a 'shot and
print' service at the con. This means that you can hire us to take a
couple shots of your costume and then we will be giving you a choice of
which one you would like to have printed out for you.
All
prices for the Artist Alley service will anncounced closer to the
convention. All prints will be printed using a photo printer on special
photo paper.
All proceeds made from ohSNAP's photoshoots pay
towards the equipment and website that helps to keep this website
around.

So some friends and decided to start a Vancouver Cosplay group to see if perhaps we could meet any new people in the area. Lol if not it will be a place for us to hang out in.

I am going to use this site as another way for my partner and I to get our humble(Lol I say humble because we are really small and starting out and I dont really concider us in any way professional.8D) little photography site out there for others to see.^^ SO every now and then I will prob make blogs of the updates to our recent shoots and such.

So due to technical problems our gallary has been a bit funky lately. But before it started this I was getting up most of the shoots that I did at Sakura Con 2007 up. Here are some of the ones that I managed to get finished before the issues started to happen:

So I said to myself that I would never get a myspace account because I find them silly and then this site comes to my attention... So I will test it out and see how it handles. Another thing to take up my sewing time. Lol.

My layout and info will be in limbo until I find something that full fits my tastes.
