So back in feb when I went to NYCC I brought along my Sandra Green costume, it recieved the most amazing compliments and media attention ( Yeah NY Magazine!). Well prior to NYCC I saw that sci-fi was doing a audition for Who Wants to be a Superhero. I really wanted to apply, but at the time didn't think I was going to go to the convention, so I didn't bother to write up a application or make a costume. Well a few months later there I was, in the white PVC costume I would come to love. I walk through the doors and am apprehended by a Sci-fi channel lackey asking me if I wanted to audition. Much to my refusal my friend Katy forced me to do it, so at the very least I could meet Stan Lee. I kept saying that it wasn't even my costume design, blah blah. Well I interviewed, mention the fact that it was not my design. I wasn't hopeful, but I didn't have any regrets. Although, I never got to me Stan.

In anycase here I am months later. And here I am on the front page of the WWTBAS website. @_@ And, an interview. WTF.

I'm going to go crawl in a hole now.

So the fifth movie was amazing. I would go into a whole schpeal ( is that the correct spelling?) But that would take too much time. We went in costume as well, of course we have no pictures. But it was great. I had a cauldron full of popcorn, a bookbag full of candy and all of my close friends. I whipped together a Ronald wig and some radish earings. Ah, so much fun. We're gttign together again for the book release, so hopefully I'll get some pictures of our awesome group. ^_^

So all of my photos with David got deleted. Its not that big of a deal, they explained why. But now I have to upload them again. So the gallery page is going to be spammed with my images, sorry guys.

Well, Portcon was a let down. But after all that wasted time at the con, at least I had a nice 21st birthday. I had a cooler full of booze in my hotel room and was lucky enough to conduct a few photoshoots with my close friends.

I will probably upload my favorite from each shoot later.

And after all that work on Sakura and Yuna, both broke. Of course, it would not have been a successful convention if my costumes stayed together. At least it was just my necklace on Yuna. My next con is AAC. I have a lot of planning for that, I want to make it NE's best small con.

So, I leave for Portcon maine thursday. And while I should be painting my new Yuna skirt, and finishing up my Sakura outfit. I am here, doing nothing. 

I was contemplating making a Rukia school uniform before the con, but if I can't finish my dress and skirt tonight, I won't have time.

On another thought. I think I fractured my hand. XD
