I went swimming yesterday for the first time in MONTHS! It was fun. Big pool with a waterfall. Still can't tell if it's slightly sunburn on my skin or chlorine that I didn't really wash off. -shrugs- I finished Simca's dress and I'm so happy! The only thing that is bugging the crap out of me is that the sides flatten so they stick out. I'm just going to take them in a bit and it should be fine. Next obstacle: Simca's hat. I'm planning on making them. It seems pretty easy; pentagon for the top and five pieces plus a rim. Making the star on top.... hm........ still unsure about that. I have my old goggles (if you knew me in high school my junior year, you should remember me wearing them almost every single day XD) which I'll be using for hers. -sigh- Sad thing, I don't know when I'll have money to get the material for Simca's hat.
So I got to drive to Michael's and back today. Yay! After having a permit for almost two years I'm actually really driving! XD Yeah, I was lazy getting it and too lazy to drive when I first got it. But anywho, I got supplies for my original character's shirt so I may have it finished by either tonight or tomorrow. -squee- Now off to find a hammer to put in eyelets! -runs off-  -runs back- And I saved Simca's dress!! There was a pile of fraying bits that I cut off. But I re-sewn the parts that were pulling apart and ironed it and it looks pretty good. ^^ Now to tackle the sailor collar like I've been saying for the past week and a half/two weeks. XDDD

Cosplay: ATM, Simca's dress hates being washed.... It frayed like hell!! I have to re-sew some parts. I almost cried last night about it because I used quite a bit of money on the fabric which I could be using towards my college expenses in the spring. However, mom said we could just use the dress as a base-form-thingy and go buy the right fabric that won't fray like crap in a delicate wash. ^^ That made me happy. Now to wait until halloween time to look for a wig.
That title has no relation as to why I'm sick as a......as a...... whatever, I'm sick. I was half asleep most of the morning because it was storming. Then Sashikku called me to make sure I was up by noon. (Asked her to do this last night.) However I told her I felt like crap and was going back to sleep. She said okay and I wished her to have fun at the beach today. So I get up to get a quick drink and guess what awaits me..... chores! EBIL! -cough- I tell dad I'll do it in a while and that I'm going to go get a bit more sleep. Well it didn't happen so I went and did the dishes. And now, it's 2:30ish and I'm planning on getting in some sleep before coming back on to play Guild Wars. And maybe I can finish the main dress part of Simca's outfit today and begin the sailor collar. ......... I feel like I'm in due for quite a few pricks from needles today.......... Anyway, ja. -stumbles off to bed-
It's not even noon yet and I feel like I'm bouncing off the walls. Kind of like one of my friends said about Sashikku and me when he called us back at 5 in the morning. XD Anyways! Nothing new. No job calls. Maybe I should look for some more just in case... Planning my future con schedule. I know I want to attend Megacon 2008 and Anime Supercon 2007. That's all I know for now. Hmm.... I need to get off my butt and go do stuff so maybe I'll update later or tomorrow, depends on my time on here. Ja minna!!
So yeah, this is my first blog on here. Hi peoples! Life is going good right now. I'm tired but when am I not? It's hot again today (no surprise there....) and most likely will be raining later. Cosplays are going good. Currently working on Simca. I hope to re-do this one with different fabric but what I have will do for now. Problem at hand: money.... I just put in two applications online, one for Books-A-Million and one for PetCo. Wish me luck on those! I've already put in two others for JoAnn's and Michael's. Hopefully I can get a job soon and the money problem can end. I'm still deciding whether to get my license before or after I get a job. Oh well, we'll see. Finally, after I (hopefully) get a job, I'll be starting college in the spring. Today feels like a day for organizing so, Ja! Oh yeah, it's already starting to storm here!
