So Con Season '08 is finished for me, unless you count Anime South 2009 (which is the first weekend in January, so it might as well be 2008). So con reports! METROCON: I was a liaison, so I worked most of the weekend with my guest, Lauren Goodnight. I had two doll panels (one was a meet up) and a Zelda panel with Ordona. The Fantasy Masquerade was amazing, as well as Chess (I went Sunday). Overall, great time. AFO: Friday I wore Giselle because I wasn't able to walk around much in her at Megacon. Met new people, fun times. Saturday we goofed off mostly and did dolly stuff. Sunday, though, was the big day! COSTUME CONTEST! I entered my newest costume that I finished the final details the night before, Ordon Link. I was so surprised to snag 2nd Place Advanced for it!! I can gladly say I'm glad I'm con-free until January. I need a break and my apartment needs cleaning.

I had a BLAST. Here's my report from my LJ: Friday: Catgirl-mode Spent most of my day running amuk for the Consortium doing panels and things, as well as tracking down Carmel for Saturday info. Much fun was had. Found Jess (Ordona) and got in the room. Fun times there, that's for sure!! It was me, Jess, Kent, and Mike (FullMetalMiku). A few of Jess's friends joined Saturday.
Saturday: Giselle's Andalasia dress OMG I GOT TO JUDGE THE BIGGEST COSPLAY CONTEST IN FLORIDA AND IT WAS EPIC. And hard. I wanted to give awards to a few more people, but couldn't. Sad, sad kitty. =;.;= So I really saw who entered the contest that day. =.= If ANYONE has Saturday photos, please link me to them so I can see everyone from Saturday!
Sunday: Kula Joyce (Lystrade) remembered my costume, so I was able to join in the SNK fun! That was a BLAST. Karaoke was... well, painful. Got a photoshoot with Kent courtesy of Troy (Tenshikun) and I can't wait to see them. Kim said they were adorable, though. =^_^= Got to see a lot of people looking awesome and I met Jackie (ThePrincessZelda), who was a sweetheart. I didn't know it was her until after we were chatting for a while. We got to sing Little Mermaid together. XD
Acquired a Sephiroth plushie and two Mello posters. And Kent said he'd buy one of Natalie's Puki's for me (after she offered to sell one, of course)!!!! ♥♥♥♥ I'm emailing her now to hold it for me. SO HAPPY! I love my Kent so much!!
Overall, epic weekend. I miss it already. =;.;=
I can't wait! It's going to be AMAZING. My costume plans: Kula Diamond, Tetra, and Fairy Rikku. Going to be determined on when the talent show and costume contests are (I'll be competing in both). Kula will be on the other day.
If anyone sees me, say hi! I'll be sure to say hi back. Make sure you mention you're from Cosspace/C-Lab/C-Com/etc... otherwise I might be a little weirded out. Chances are I WON'T have my dollies with me. I'm traveling up there from Orlando with three of my friends and there will be a lot in the car as is. Don't need them in there as well.
Got a Facebook. Adding the link to my profile. Work's been great... except one thing.. I sprained my ankle on my first full day on rotation. Yeah. Now I'm on restrictions for a week. W. T. F. SO NOT COOL. Now I can't be on the boat. =;.;=
AFO was AWESOME this year. Best one in a long time!! I was only able to cosplay on Sunday due to complications (like me forgetting a vital piece of a costume...), but the costume was my big one for the weekend so I don't mind. Jamie (Lolita_Minako) put a con report up in our Cosplay LJ, so better details are there of the weekend.
Sunday was the day I wore Agatha, and she was SO well received! I'm so pleased! Looking at the photos there are a few things I want to fix later (like moving up the middle butterfly on the skirt), but it wasn't so vital to change it for the con because I was WIPED OUT from this cotume. I put 20-25 hours on my entry form, but looking back I think it was a TAD off... like by another 20-25 hours. =.o= And all my hard worked paid off for the costume contest because I won 1st place Advanced!! They bumped me up from Novice!!! Jamie and I met in the aisle and couldn't stop crying after I got my plaque. XD At least I know my spirit gum is awesome-my crying didn't even loosen the dots on my face (kinda wish it did... they HURT coming off...).

Friday: Lacus Cline (belongs to Lystrade, we're doing a costume swap for the day)
Saturday: Fairy Rikku with Gullwing Keyblade.
Sunday: Princess Agatha for the costume contest. So excited! Can't wait!
Tomorrow is dedicated to the construction of the shoes, but that's all that's left before Agatha is complete!! Here is my new baby!! I'm so excited to wear this to AFO this weekend, but I'm nervous at the same time... that's to be expected, though.
